n Wednesday, January 19, 2005, the new officers for the Auxiliary of the Little Sisters of the Poor were Oinstalled. Mass and dinner preceded the business meeting, which was attended by nearly 90 members. This marks the eighth anniversary of the Auxiliary, which was founded in 1997. The group of over 200 members focuses on fund-raising to help the Sisters with their operating costs and special needs. In total, the Auxiliary has raised $985,000 for Jeanne Jugan Residence. The Auxiliary meets three times a year on the third Wednes- day of January, April and October. New members are welcome.
