Després, el poblat ibèric, la Foradada i les mimoses i els pins que es retorcen increïblement damunt les roques camí de Canyers i de cala Estreta. Aquest sí, aquest és el millor lloc del món. (Rafel Nadal, Quan érem feliços) La Llegenda de la Fosca inèdit La Platja de la Fosca deu el seu nom a la pedra que divideix aquesta en dues meitats. Aquesta roca és l’origen d’algunes històries com la del famós remolí xuclador que existeix als seus peus, aquesta llegenda pot tenir fonament en les perilloses corrents que s'hi creen amb mar de fons de llevant. Hi ha, però una altre llegenda molt i molt antiga que relaciona els colors de la roca fosca amb el palau de la deessa Pirene i els seus darrers dies de vida. Quan Pirenne fugia de Geiró, el monstre de tres caps assassí del seu pare, que va cremar tot el que avui són el Pirineus per acabar amb la seva vida, cosa que, malgrat el que està escrit, no va aconseguir. La deessa va sobreviure i va fugir amb els seus servents per cercar un nou lloc per viure.
