One does not have to be a “star” architect to be engaged in international work. Often architects find different working and business practices while on their international projects abroad, encounter different ways of working with authorities and local consultants as well as different cultures and lifestyles in general. Such work, which includes travelling or living abroad, can be exciting and highly satisfying but it also has many pitfalls.
