Enw newydd ar ymgynghori yw strategaethau cyfranogiad rhanddeiliaid. Pan fo cynllun i gael ei ddatblygu mae’r Llywodraeth yn awyddus i sicrhau bod ymgynghori â’r cyhoedd (unigolion neu sefydliadau) a bod eu barn yn cael ei chofnodi ac yn cael sylw priodol. Ymgynghori yw proses o wrando ar sylwadau a derbyn gwybodaeth a data sy’n arwain at ddatblygu polisi sydd yna’n agored i sylwadau pellach trwy ymgynghori cyn cadarnhau’r polisïau. Mae ymgynghori â rhanddeiliaid wedi chwarae rhan annatod wrth ddatblygu polisïau rheoli’r draethlin. Trefnodd pob awdurdod yr ymgynghori â rhanddeiliaid drwy gydol datblygiad y CRhT gyda chymorth Royal Haskoning. Ffurfiwyd y grŵp rhanddeiliaid o gynrychiolwyr grwpiau gyda diddordeb lleol, rhanbarthol a chenedlaethol, yn ogystal â diddordebau penodol i safle. Dewiswyd grŵp o’r fath i geisio cael dull ymgynghori ‘cyfannol’, gan ystyried holl ddiddordebau yn yr arfordir: Y WELEDIGAETH yw: Gweledigaeth Is-Grŵp Rheoli Prosiect CRhT yw cael cydsyniad ymysg rhanddeiliaid trwy adael iddynt gynorthwyo llunio’r broses. I gyflawni’r weledigaeth hon, bydd yr is-grŵp yn sicrhau bod holl randdeiliaid, naill ai gyda diddordeb ym mharatoi’r CRhT2, neu sy’n teimlo effaith y polisïau a gynhyrchir (gan gynnwys asiantaethau, awdurdodau, sefydliadau a phobl breifat), yn cael eu hystyried yn y broses ymgynghori. Amcanion y Strategaeth Cyfranogiad Rhanddeiliaid yw: 1. Gwella ac adeiladu ar y sail wybodaeth bresennol trwy gael gwybodaeth sy’n cael ei dal gan randdeiliaid; 2. Datblygu consensws a chynyddu dilysrwydd y CRhT; 3. Gwella penderfynu, dilysu agweddau, galluogi archwilio a phrofi; 4. Datrys gwahaniaethau’n gynnar; 5. Ymestyn dealltwriaeth rhanddeiliad o’r CRhT; 6. Sefydlu cysylltiadau a rhwydweithiau defnyddiol i weithrediad CRhT2. Un agwedd i roi sylw iddi wrth gynhyrchu’r CRhT yw sut i ddenu rhanddeiliaid i wella effeithlonrwydd ac effeithiolrwydd eu cyfranogiad ac i osgoi anghydfodau. Gan ddibynnu ar y materion lleol a sefydliadau dan sylw, mae’n ddoeth bod gwahanol grwpiau’n cael eu gwahodd i ymwneud â’r broses mewn ffyrdd gwahanol. I gydnabod hyn, nodwyd pedwar o grwpiau rhanddeiliaid sylfaenol, ynghyd â dulliau cynnwys pob grŵp. Y grwpiau hyn yw: Is-grŵp Rheoli’r Prosiect; Aelodau Etholedig; Rhanddeiliaid Allweddol; Rhanddeiliaid Eraill. CRhT2 Gorllewin Cymru 9T9001/RSection1v4/301164PBor Terfynol -Atodiad B. 1 - Tachwedd 2011 Mae’r pedwar grŵp yn hwyluso graddau amrywiol o gyfranogiad rhanddeiliaid wrth ddatblygu’r CRhT gan gynnig gwahanol feintiau o ddylanwad y gall rhanddeiliaid eu rhoi ar y canlyniad. B1.2 Cynrychiolaeth Is-grŵp Rheoli’r Prosiect (PMG) Yr Is-grŵp sydd â chyfrifoldeb cyffredinol dros gyflawni’r CRhT. Dyma’r grŵp a ddechreuodd broses ddatblygu’r CRhT, gan oruchwylio neu ymgymryd ag unrhyw waith cwmpasu oedd ei angen, cael cyfraniadau technegol gofynnol i gwblhau’r CRhT a rheoli’r prosesau datblygu a mabwysiadu. Mae’r PMG yn cynrychioli’r prif awdurdodau gweithredu yn ardal y CRhT. Awdurdodau gweithredu’r Grwpiau Arfordirol yw Cyngor Sir Ceredigion, Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy, Cyngor Gwynedd, Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn a Chyngor Sir Penfro. Aelodau eraill yw Cyngor Cefn Gwlad Cymru, Asiantaeth yr Amgylchedd Cymru, Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro, Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, Archeoleg Cambria, Archeoleg Gwynedd, Comisiwn Brenhinol Henebion Cymru, CADW, Cymdeithas y Tirfeddianwyr, Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru, Network Rail a’r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol. Fel y cyfryw, mae’r cynrychiolwyr yn cwmpasu gwyddorau allwedd peirianneg, cynllunio a chadwraeth. Fforwm Aelodau Etholedig Mae cyfranogiad Aelodau Etholedig ym mhroses ddatblygu’r CRhT yn adlewyrchu’r dull “Cabinet” o wneud penderfyniadau sy’n gweithredu mewn llawer o awdurdodau lleol. Cynhwyswyd gwleidyddion o’r dechrau, gan geisio sicrhau y bydd y polisïau’n dderbyniol i’r awdurdodau lleol. Oherwydd maint ardal y CRhT ni fu’n ymarferol cynnal cyfarfodydd o’r Fforwm Aelodau Etholedig yn aml. Cynhaliwyd dau brif gyfarfod: - 9fed Gorffennaf 2009; - 8fed Gorffennaf 2010. Bydd cyfarfod pellach yn cael ei gynnal yn ystod y cyfnod ymgynghori ffurfiol. Mae’r holl awdurdodau wedi bod yn ymgynghori’n fewnol yn ystod proses y CRhT. Grwpiau Rhanddeiliad Allweddol Mae’r Grwpiau Rhanddeiliad Allweddol (KSG) wedi gweithredu fel canolbwyntiau trafod ac ymgynghori wrth ddatblygu’r CRhT. Fel gyda’r Fforwm Aelodau Etholedig ni fu modd trefnu un cyfarfod o’r grŵp hwn a dynodwyd Rhanddeiliaid Allweddol gan awdurdodau unigol a’u hysbysu trwy wefan Gorllewin Cymru. Mae aelodaeth y grwpiau’n rhoi cynrychiolaeth o’r prif fuddiannau ar hyd glannau’r cynllun, gan sicrhau ystyried holl ddiddordebau wrth adolygu materion yng nghyfnodau cynnar y broses.     “The Prophecies of Fferyll”: Virgilian Reception in Wales Revised from a paper given to the Virgil Society on 18 May 2013 Davies Whenever I make the short journey from my home to Swansea’s railway station, I pass two shops which remind me of Virgil. Both are chemist shops, both belong to large retail empires. The name-boards above their doors proclaim that each shop is not only a “pharmacy” but also a fferyllfa, literally “Virgil’s place”. In bilingual Wales homage is paid to the greatest of poets every time we collect a prescription! The Welsh words for a chemist or pharmacist fferyllydd( ), for pharmaceutical science (fferylliaeth), for a retort (fferyllwydr) are – like fferyllfa,the chemist’s shop – all derived from Fferyll, a learned form of Virgil’s name regularly used by writers and poets of the Middle Ages in Wales.1 For example, the 14th-century Dafydd ap Gwilym, in one of his love poems, pic- tures his beloved as an enchantress and the silver harp that she is imagined playing as o ffyrf gelfyddyd Fferyll (“shaped by Virgil’s mighty art”).2 This is, of course, the Virgil “of popular legend”, as Comparetti describes him: the Virgil of the Neapolitan tales narrated by Gervase of Tilbury and Conrad of Querfurt, Virgil the magician and alchemist, whose literary roots may be in Ecl. 8, a fascinating counterfoil to the prophet of the Christian interpretation of Ecl. 4.3 Not that the role of magician and the role of prophet were so differentiated in the medieval mind as they might be today.

Afterwards he studied at All Souls, Oxford, where he met Thomas Caius, engraved map of Britain. He also proposed to publish a full description of all Henry’s and at Paris under Francis Sylvius. Royal Palaces. After entering Holy Orders in 1525, he became tutor to the son of Thomas Howard, Sadly, little or none of this materialised and Leland appears to have dissipated Duke of Norfolk. While so employed, he wrote much elegant Latin poetry in praise of much effort in seeking church advancement and in literary disputes such as that with the Royal Court which may have gained him favour with Henry VIII, for he was Richard Croke, who he claimed had slandered him.

    ROBERT GERAINT GRUFFYDD Robert Geraint Gruffydd 1928–2015 GERAINT GRUFFYDD RESEARCHED IN EVERY PERIOD—the whole gamut—of Welsh literature, and he published important contributions on its com- plete panorama from the sixth to the twentieth century. He himself spe- cialised in two periods in particular—the medieval ‘Poets of the Princes’ and the Renaissance. But in tandem with that concentration, he was renowned for his unique mastery of detail in all other parts of the spec- trum. This, for many acquainted with his work, was his paramount excel- lence, and reflected the uniqueness of his career. Geraint Gruffydd was born on 9 June 1928 on a farm named Egryn in Tal-y-bont, Meirionnydd, the second child of Moses and Ceridwen Griffith. According to Peter Smith’sHouses of the Welsh Countryside (London, 1975), Egryn dated back to the fifteenth century. But its founda- tions were dated in David Williams’s Atlas of Cistercian Lands in Wales (Cardiff, 1990) as early as 1391. In the eighteenth century, the house had been something of a centre of culture in Meirionnydd where ‘the sound of harp music and interludes were played’, with ‘the drinking of mead and the singing of ancient song’, according to the scholar William Owen-Pughe who lived there. Owen- Pughe’s name in his time was among the most famous in Welsh culture. An important lexicographer, his dictionary left its influence heavily, even notoriously, on the development of nineteenth-century literature. And it is strangely coincidental that in the twentieth century, in his home, was born and bred for a while a major Welsh literary scholar, superior to him by far in his achievement, who too, for his first professional activity, had started his career as a lexicographer.

    A WELSH CLASSICAL DICTIONARY DACHUN, saint of Bodmin. See s.n. Credan. He has been wrongly identified with an Irish saint Dagan in LBS II.281, 285. G.H.Doble seems to have been misled in the same way (The Saints of Cornwall, IV. 156). DAGAN or DANOG, abbot of Llancarfan. He appears as Danoc in one of the ‘Llancarfan Charters’ appended to the Life of St.Cadog (§62 in VSB p.130). Here he is a clerical witness with Sulien (presumably abbot) and king Morgan [ab Athrwys]. He appears as abbot of Llancarfan in five charters in the Book of Llandaf, where he is called Danoc abbas Carbani Uallis (BLD 179c), and Dagan(us) abbas Carbani Uallis (BLD 158, 175, 186b, 195). In these five charters he is contemporary with bishop Berthwyn and Ithel ap Morgan, king of Glywysing. He succeeded Sulien as abbot and was succeeded by Paul. See Trans.Cym., 1948 pp.291-2, (but ignore the dates), and compare Wendy Davies, LlCh p.55 where Danog and Dagan are distinguished. Wendy Davies dates the BLD charters c.A.D.722 to 740 (ibid., pp.102 - 114). DALLDAF ail CUNIN COF. (Legendary). He is included in the tale of ‘Culhwch and Olwen’ as one of the warriors of Arthur's Court: Dalldaf eil Kimin Cof (WM 460, RM 106). In a triad (TYP no.73) he is called Dalldaf eil Cunyn Cof, one of the ‘Three Peers’ of Arthur's Court. In another triad (TYP no.41) we are told that Fferlas (Grey Fetlock), the horse of Dalldaf eil Cunin Cof, was one of the ‘Three Lovers' Horses’ (or perhaps ‘Beloved Horses’).
