BRAZILIAN FASHION LABEL INCENTIVE LOCATION: EDINBURGH 5 DAYS/ 4 NIGHTS 80 GUESTS A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 1 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 ITINERARY DAY ONE: MONDAY 30 TH APRIL 2018 Morning The guests will arrive at Edinburgh Airport and will be met by Andrew Burnet. They will be escorted to their Coach where they will receive a warm Scottish welcome in the form of music by a lone Piper. They will board the Coach and transfer 40 minutes to their lunch venue. Lunch The guests will have a private Lunch in the Castlehill Room at The Scotch Whisky Experience followed by a private tour and Whisky Tasting with the opportunity to view the world’s largest collection of Scotch Whisky Afternoon Approx. 10 minute transfer to Edinburgh city centre Hotel for check in and time at leisure Accommodation: The Principal Edinburgh, George Street 4* Evening Welcome Dinner will be served at The Caves. Every room has a story to tell and a special place in Scottish history – including vaults that served as the stables to the French Cavalry who were at one time body guards to the Royal Family. A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 2 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 DAY TWO: TUESDAY 1 ST MAY 2018 ITINERARY Morning After breakfast, the guests will have a full day meeting at their Hotel Lunch Lunch will be served onsite. Afternoon Meeting recommences. Evening The guests will transfer 20 minutes to Leith for a memorable evening with Dinner onboard The Royal Yacht Britannia. The Royal Yacht Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for over 40 years, sailing over 1,000,000 miles around the world. Now berthed in Edinburgh, the guests can follow in the footsteps of Royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of Royal residences. A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 3 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 DAY THREE: WEDNESDAY 2 ND MAY 2018 Morning After breakfast the guests will transfer 75 minutes to Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish kings where Macbeth, Robert the Bruce and Charles II were once crowned. They will enjoy a truly memorable experience at the Palace including a visit to Moot Hill accompanied by Robert the Bruce (costumed character) a private tour of the Palace, refreshments overlooking the River Tay ITINERARY and a musical performance from the Clarsach (Scottish Harp). The experience will end with a surprise finale outside the Palace, as the guests are ambushed by The Clan who will perform a sensational fighting and swordsmanship display using a variety of traditional weapons. The guests will then board their fleet of 4x4 vehicles and self-drive for 45 minutes through scenic Perthshire countryside to their lunch venue, Glamis Castle. Lunch When the guests arrive at Glamis Castle they will park their vehicles in the grounds and be invited to the Victorian Kitchen Restaurant where they will enjoy a delicious 2 course lunch and they can chat about their journey. Afternoon After lunch the guests will divide into groups and take tours of Glamis Castle which was the Childhood Home of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. They will also experience a fascinating Falconry display! They will then board their coaches and transfer approx. 95 minutes to their Hotel. Evening Dinner will be served in Tigerlily located on George Street, a trendy boutique venue in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 4 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 DAY FOUR: THURSDAY 3 RD MAY 2018 Morning After breakfast the guests will have time at leisure to enjoy the Spa, shopping and to explore Scotland's capital city. For those guests wishing to take part in an organised activity we can arrange the following: Edinburgh city centre guided walking tour, giving guests a greater insight into the history, culture and traditions of Scotland’s capital city. Guided tour of Edinburgh Castle with a viewing of the Scottish Crown jewels, The Honours of Scotland, and the Stone of Destiny, a powerful and ancient symbol of Scottish monarchy, witnessing the coronation of its kings for hundreds of years. ITINERARY Guided tour of The Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of Her Majesty The Queen in Scotland. Guided tour of The Royal Botanic Garden. Guided tour and extended Whisky Tasting at Glenkinchie Distillery followed by a visit to Rosslyn Chapel, owned by The Earl and Countess of Rosslyn and featuring in Dan Brown’s novel, The Da Vinci Code, in 2003. Edinburgh Outlander Experience - Tracing the real events that inspired Diana Gabaldon’s acclaimed novels, this walking tour captures the spirit of the Jacobite rebellion in Edinburgh – the Redcoats, the Highlanders and the smell of gunpowder in the air. Bagpipe Workshop – This could be hosted at the Hotel and it gives the guests the opportunity to play Scotland’s most famous instrument! Lunch The guests will make their own lunch arrangements A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 5 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 DAY FOUR: THURSDAY 3 RD MAY 2018 Afternoon Time at leisure. The guests will be invited to a Suite in their Hotel to collect their traditional Scottish dress for the evenings Gala dinner. Men will be invited to wear full Kilt outfits while the ladies can wear Tartan sashes ITINERARY and brooches over their formal dresses. Gala Dinner Venue Hopetoun House – Scotland’s finest stately home, Hopetoun has been the ancestral home of the Hope family for over 300 years. The Hope family has a long and honourable record of service to crown, country, the law and the military. This will be a memorable evening featuring exciting entertainment including fireworks, Ceilidh band with dancing, a guided tour of the House, gifts and a surprise performance – Beating the Retreat. A PRESENTATION TO BRAZILIAN FASHION CLIENT 6 ANDREW BURNET & COMPANY © 00/00/2017 ITINERARY DAY FIVE: FRIDAY 4 TH MAY 2018 Morning After breakfast the guests will check out and depart on 2 Vintage Red Buses on a tour of the City. The Buses will stop at the foot of Calton Hill and their guides will lead them to the top for a final view of the city and a photograph opportunity The guests will then transfer by executive Coach approx. 30 minutes to Edinburgh Airport for their departure flight. The journey will take the guests through a virtual distillery which explains the production and maturation process of whisky making. The Whisky experiences expert guides and Whisky advisors will be with the group every sip of the way! Guests are then escorted to the sensory rooms where they will learn more about the different regions that produce whisky in Scotland and the flavours and aromas of these regions. The tour will finish with a close-up look at the world’s largest collection of Scotch Whisky, the Diageo Claive Vidiz Collection. A once in a lifetime opportunity to enter the world’s largest collection of Scotch Whisky; almost 3,500 individual bottles. They will be invited to taste a dram of Scotch Malt Whisky and will be given a Whisky Tasting glass to take home as a memento of their visit. It is then time for the guests to browse the Whisky shop!
