The Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, CO (November 12, 2018) – On Sunday, June 16, 2019, the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra will return to Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts as part of their worldwide tour, bringing timeless classics like In the Mood, Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, A String of Pearls and Tuxedo Junction back to the stage. Even 80 years after founding his famous orchestra, Glenn Miller’s music is alive and well.
Tickets for the one-night only show will go on sale Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. They range in price from $36 to $59, plus applicable fees, and will be available at the Pikes Peak Center box office, PikesPeakCenter.com, AXS.com and via phone at (719) 520-SHOW. During what promises to be a memorable matinee concert, 18 musicians and singers will bring the unforgettable Glenn Miller sound to Pikes Peak Center. The legendary Glenn Miller was the most successful of all the dance bandleaders in the Swing era of the 1930s and 1940s.
