Correspondencia: [email protected] Resumen. Se presenta una lista de las especies actuales y fósiles de arañas (Araneae) registradas para Chiapas. Hasta el momento se registran 464 especies actuales, distribuidas en 281 géneros y 56 familias. Las familias con mayor diversidad son Salticidae, Theridiidae, Araneidae, Tetragnathidae y Gnaphosidae. Se proporcionan los géneros y especies en sinonimia, así como los géneros y especies que han sido transferidos a otras familias, y las especies transferidas a otros géneros dentro de la misma familia. Se han registrado 36 especies fósiles incluidas en ámbar. La taxonomía de arañas actuales y la de fósiles no son disciplinas completamente independientes. -

We propose a phylogeny for all entelegyne families with cribellate members based on a matrix of 137 characters scored for 43 exemplar taxa and analyzed under parsimony. The cladogram confirms the monophyly of Neocribellatae, Araneoclada, Entelegynae, and Orbiculariae. Lycosoidea, Amaurobiidae and some included subfamilies, Dictynoidea, and Amaurobioidea (sensu Forster & Wilton 1973) are polyphyletic. Phyxelidinae Lehtinen is raised to family level (Phyxelididae, NEW RANK). The family Zorocratidae Dahl 1913 is revalidated. A group including all entelegynes other than Eresoidea is weakly supported as the sister group of Orbiculariae. ZooKeys 881: 53–89. https://doi.org/10.3897/zookeys.881.32055 Abstract This study presents an extensive review of published and unpublished occurrence records of fish species in the Rio Negro drainage system within the Brazilian territory. The data was gathered from two main sources: 1) litterature compilations of species occurrence records, including original descriptions and re- visionary studies; and 2) specimens verification at the INPA fish collection. The results reveal a rich and diversified ichthyofauna, with 1,165 species distributed in 17 orders (+ two incertae sedis), 56 families, and 389 genera. A large portion of the fish fauna (54.3% of the species) is composed of small-sized fishes < 10 cm in standard length. -

A New Species of Goeldia (Araneae: Titanoecidae) with Notes on Its Natural History

E-mail: [email protected] 3 Corresponding author. ABSTRACT. A new species of Goeldia Keyserling, 1891 is described. Goeldia is the only genus of Titanoecidae with species in the Neotropical region and includes eight species diagnosed by the presence of a patellar process in the male palp. The new species, Goeldia zyngierae sp. nov., was found living inside the Casa de Pedra cave, Ribeira, Itabaiana, Sergipe, Brazil. Goeldia zyngierae sp. nov. is diagnosed by the tegular process with a small constriction near the base of the dorsal part and by a distal narrowing, more visible in the dorsal side of the patellar process of the male palp. The female epigynum shows a pair of sinuous depressions and a large mid field that does not close the copulatory openings as in Goeldia luteipes Keyserling, 1878. The vulva presents a narrow and straight copulatory duct in comparison with those of Goeldia mexicana Pickard-Cambridge, 1896 and a narrow spermathecae. The description includes illustrations of the genital organs, mea- surements of the body and legs and leg spination. Notes on the natural history show that inside the cave the spiders live farther than the first 40 m, in the aphotic zone, under stones or on the wall.
