JACK O’SULLIVAN – SCHOOL STUDENT • In February 2016, Year 11 student Jack met Building Plymouth at an Open Day at City College Plymouth where he showed an interest in architecture and design • We organised a week of work experience – architecture, engineering and QS • Introduced to the Atrium Studio School and started sixth form there • 2018: Now studying BA(Hons) Architecture at Plymouth University

“I really enjoyed studying at the Atrium and the guidance and support I received there was amazing. The ‘A’ levels I studied and the topics I learnt in Design, Engineering, Construction (DEC!) are proving really useful at University and I’m loving the course.

I’m so glad I met you at Building Plymouth and will always be grateful for the work experience schedule you arranged for me at the end of year 11. It really confirmed that I definitely wanted to study Architecture. I carried on my work experience with Stride Treglown Architects whilst I was at the Atrium, working on live projects, which was really interesting and it was great to work alongside the professionals”.
