I T I N E R A R Y

Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI Fly to Delhi. - Jet Airways (9W-17) SIN(19:35) - DEL(22:50). On arrival meet and greet by your OM and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: DELHI - CHANDIGARH - MANALI Early morning transfer to airport to board on your scheduled flight to Chandigarh Jet Airways - 9W 7174 – Delhi (06:45) – Chandigarh (07:40) On arrival, drive 320 km, 7-9 hours to Manali. This journey offers a dramatic changes in nature from Lower Himalayas to Shivalik Himalayas and then again to the lower Himalayas. You will be driving form a hilltop to different valley structures and sometimes driving along different rivers. We would stop at Bajaura to visit Basheshar Mahadev temple with fine stone carvings and sculptures is believed to have been built in the mid 8th century. It is truly an incredible structure. On the banks of the river Beas, roughly about 200 m off the road. On completion drive to Manali. (BLD)

Day 03: MANALI - JISPA (145 km, 6 hours) Early morning drive to Jispa over Rohtang Pass 3978m. We will stop for a while to enjoy the snow capped peaks of Chandra Bhaga range of peaks and passes. There are lots of great waterfalls along the way and the scenery changes dramatically from lush green Kullu valley to the semi barren landscape of Lahaul. On arrival, transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon to walk around the village or relax at your hotel. (BLD)

Day 04: JISPA – EASYTREK™ - SARCHU (120 Km) After breakfast start walking uphill to reach the next village perched on a slope called Khangsar. The old palace made of mud and clay during the reign of Thakurs is still fighting against the harsh climatic conditions. After visiting the village, drive continue further with your next destination, an easy day driving for a short distance to Sarchu Camp in around 3-4 hours drive over the second pass on our route Baralachala (4890m) passing by two small mountain Lakes Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal on the way. The landscape changes here from the semi barren to barren landscape with different color of stratum, indicating the past of the Himalayas, when it was under deep sea and rivers added multi color soil from different parts of earth. Three rivers originating from Baralachala pass, named as Chandra, Bhaga and Yanum, natives of four valleys use to meet on top of the Pass to barter their produce and goods. Traders of Changthang bring their fine pashmina and the traders of Lahaul bring them salt, butter and other spices to exchange with their pashmina. O/N Camp. (BLD)

Day 05: SARCHU – LEH Early morning, drive 240 km, 7-8 hours to Leh driving over three high passes on this route Nakee La (4739m) Lachlungla (5065m) and Tanglangla (5360m). You might be finding some of the "Changpas" nomadic shepherds, who also engage in trade and use to work for caravans in Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti. The Area is rich in wildlife including the "Kyang" (wild ass), red fox and the rare, highly endangered, snow leopard. Barren mountains on this route makes you feel that you are traveling on moon. The change of mountain colors due to different mineral deposits specially descending down Tanglang La is noticeable. We shall stop at to get our jeeps paid the interstate taxes and continue straight along to reach Leh. (BLD)

Day 06: LEH – – THIKSHEY - LEH A day to explore the surrounding of Leh town along the Indus River. We would visit Shey Palace and Monastery and monasteries for the day today. Thiksey Monastery is one of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, it belongs to the Gelukpa Order of Buddhism. is located on a hilltop. The monastery was erected on the instructions of King Deldon Namgyal, in the memory of his late father, Singay Namgyal. The main image inside the Shey Monastery is that of Buddha Shakyamuni. It is a huge image of the seated Buddha and is considered to be the biggest metal statue and the second largest Buddha statue in the Ladakh region. Copper sheets, gilded with gold, make up this amazing Buddha statue. Later visit Palace Museum. Still the royal family of Leh lives in one part of the palace. On completion drive back to Leh. (BLD)

Day 07:- LEH – PANGONG LAKE (150 KM) Early morning drive to Pangong. This journey takes us past picturesque villages of Shey and Thikse, and turns off the Indus valley by the side-valley of Chemrey and Sakti. is crossed by the Chang-la (18,000 feet), which despite its great elevation is one of the easier, passes, remaining open for much of the year even in winter, apart from periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass, has an ancient temple. But the main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). The surrounding views reflected on the lake are simply mesmerizing. The color of the lake keeps changing throughout the day. Overnight Camp.

Day 08:- PANGONG LAKE – LEH (150 KM) In the morning enjoy sunrise at Pangong Lake. Later drive back to Leh via same route over Chang-La Pass. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Evening explore the market and some last moment shopping. Overnight hotel. (BLD)

Day 09: LEH – DELHI – FLY HOME Early morning transfer to airport for your scheduled flight to Delhi. On arrival visit around Delhi. Free day for own activities or shopping around Delhi. After dinner transfer to airport for board on your scheduled flight to Singapore. (BL)

Day 10: Arrive Singapore

Arrive Singapore 0830 hour. End of tour
