The Project consists of a Compression Station located at the Al-Arish Terminal in Egypt, a subsea pipeline from Al-Arish to Ashqelon, and the Ashqelon Receiving Terminal in Israel. The pipeline has an internal diameter of 26 in. with a total length of 89 km, of which 85.4 km is subsea. Natural gas is supplied to the Project from a connection to the 36 in. Trans-Sinai Gas pipeline. From Ashqelon, the natural gas enters the Israeli Natural Gas Transmission System. The Project is designed to ultimately supply up to 7.0 Billion Cubic Metres per Annum (“BCMA”) of Egyptian sales quality natural gas to Israel. The scope of works of this project will include the design, procurement, fabrication, installation of the following items:  New heaters built adjacent to the existing ones  Civil works for pre-assembly areas, and equipment foundations (fan and Air pre-heater ground mounted)  Piping Works  Instrumentation Works including field and DCS/ESD system in MCR.  Electrical Work including lighting, and power supply from/to local boxes/boards.  Removal of existing Heaters and replacing with the new ones.

The construction strategy was based on replacing the old heaters with new ones, by using the existing foundations; existing heaters have been jacked up and extracted from foundations by skidding or equivalent system (i.e. rollers), and left beside the actual plot area, leaving sufficient spaces for insertion of new heaters; afterwards the new pre-assembled
