EXPOSING THE RULERS OF DARKNESS The Spirits of Jezebel & and Delilah and How to Identify Them at Work What do you think of when you hear the name Jezebel? Do you think of a Biblical queen, who was infamous for her evil, Baal- worshiping ways? Jezebel was indeed an evil woman, the dominant wife of Israel's King Ahab, in the time of Elijah. But she is more than just a villainous historical figure. Jezebel is one of the highest ranking villains coming against God's people right now! Jezebel is the name of a demonic spirit.

John Ramirez, former Satanist and proclaimed “son of Satan”, warns that the top two ranking demons (working directly under Satan) coming against God's people in the Last Days are: Jezebel and Delilah. Could he be right? Yes! In fact, when it warns in Ephesians 6:12 of the principalities and powers which most wrestle against Yahweh’s people, the spirits of Jezebel and Delilah are the ruling spirits, leading the hellish onslaught which is coming against the Body of Christ in the Last Days.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,” Ephesians 6:12.

In Ephesians, we are warned that we are not have any part with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather, we are to expose them. The followers of Christ need to be forewarned and forearmed against these spirits. To this end, in this article, we will expose the unfruitful works of darkness in listing the identifying works and characteristics of both the Jezebel and Delilah spirits, revealing how they infiltrate, weaken, and destroy the Body of Christ.

In the book of Revelation, God warns His people against becoming seduced and infiltrated by the abominable and destructive Jezebel Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 2 spirit. Clearly, the spirit of Jezebel exists in the Last Days, according to Scripture (Revelation 2:17-26).

If you’re like us, you may not have even heard of the Jezebel spirit. This kind of ignorance, as we painfully discovered, is dangerous! We met both the Jezebel and Delilah spirits the hard way - our experience is recorded in the book From the Dragon's Belly.

We were sincere, committed Christians, who had never heard of these spirits. As such, we didn't know what to look for and we didn't know what to expect. For those of you reading this newsletter, you are probably aware that we shepherd a precious group of equally committed Christians, in the Roseburg, Oregon area. When the Jezebel spirit hit our spiritual family, none of us were prepared or braced for impact. And it nearly cost many of us our lives - both now and eternally.

A woman, empowered by both the Jezebel and Delilah spirits, came to our Bible Study group, appearing to be repentant for her past in witchcraft. Shauna calls this woman “Adrianne”, in the book. As the story unfolded, we discovered that she was really a high-powered witch, infiltrating our spiritual family with the intent to destroy us all! Because we knew nothing about the Jezebel and Delilah spirits and couldn't discern their characteristics, this woman was able to infiltrate our group.

What do we mean about the claim that our ignorance in recognizing these spirits nearly cost some of our fellowship group their lives? In addition to the things documented in the From the Dragon’s Belly book, one couple in our group loaned “Adrianne” a bookcase to be used in her apartment. Two years later, the bookcase had been returned, and the couple who owned it found they had cancer in various organs of their bodies. The pair and our church group prayed for the healing of this precious couple!

In answer to this prayer, the Heavenly Father impressed the husband to go and look at the bookcase which he loaned to “Adrianne” two years before. He could find nothing of significance, yet the impress of the Spirit was strong upon him. Finally, he fully emptied the bookcase and even lifted it, in order to inspect its hidden base. There on the bookcase base were body parts drawn with black marker. There were curses against those body parts... And they just happened to be the exact body parts which were now afflicted with cancer in this couple!

There are more stories and experiences in the book of course - but suffice it to say that being unable to recognize the Jezebel and Delilah spirits is not only dangerous, it may also be deadly!

The Jezebel spirit corrodes Christians and churches from the inside out. And the Delilah spirit entangles Christian leaders in ungodly relationships and unholy influences. Both spirits especially work to destroy Christian leaders and remove the anointing of God from their lives.

In the Bible, the spirit of Jezebel worked through the woman with that name. But the spirit of Jezebel can work through anyone - male or female. One cannot identify the spirit simply by the face or gender behind which it hides. Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 3

So, how can Christians recognize the Jezebel and Delilah spirits? The following are their listed characteristics and identifying marks:

There are 18 identifying characteristics of the Jezebel spirit:

1. The Jezebel spirit attacks church members with fear - causing members of Christ's Body to become immobilized and unable to function as they should. The Jezebel spirit also attacks ministers and spiritual leaders with fear. 2. The person with the Jezebel spirit will often attack leaders discrediting them and disrespecting the anointing of God upon their lives. This can ruin the leader's influence and ability to serve God effectively. First the Jezebel spirit kills the anointing of God upon the person - and then it destroys the person. 3. Those operating under the Jezebel spirit are self-willed. Only their will is done - not God's. It is always about achieving THEIR agenda. 4. The person with the Jezebel spirit is a master chameleon. He or she is very good at giving the appearance of repentance and righteousness - even using convincing tears! 5. Jezebels need to be praised, elevated and noticed. They seek to be the center of attention. 6. Jezebels exert a possessive “love” that is destructive and controlling, cutting out all other relationships in their victim’s life -and isolating their prey (who is often a spiritual leader). 7. They are loyal - until you disagree with them. Then they are vengeful and NEVER forgive. 8. They do all you ask of them, so long as it goes along with their own plans. 9. Jezebels plant seeds of discord in others that lead to conflict in the homes, friendships, and fellowships of God’s people. 10. They select easily manipulated “Ahab-like” people to be their “minions” - carrying out their plans. 11. They use, manipulate, and control others to accomplish their purposes; but they ultimately work alone. 12. Jezebels do not listen to anyone else. They do not respect anyone in leadership. This may not be visible at the beginning – as they work to secure their own position prior to letting this rebellion show. 13. Jezebels are very religious. They will often attend every prayer meeting, sing every song, and will appear as the most committed and sincere Christian. This puts people off of their guard. Christians can often sense that something is “off” about the Jezebel infiltrator, but they will disregard their spiritual antennae signals, because the “Christian” act put on by the Jezebel is so convincing. 14. Jezebels seek position in order to better control, discredit, and destroy the Body of Christ into which they have infiltrated. 15. Jezebels are not committed to anyone. 16. Jezebels seek affirmation and significance. 17. Jezebels illegitimately claim authority (“I'm anointed - show me your authority and anointing!”) 18. Correction brings full-blown rebellion from the Jezebel.

And what about the spirit of Delilah?

The name Delilah is spelled in Hebrew as “DELIYLAH” which means “pining with desire”. The meaning of her name is self-explanatory. She pins you down with desire! Her whole being, presence, speech, look and action Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 4 exude “seduction”. She makes her victims suffer mentally and physically with desire for her. She is the epitome of a Seductress.

This spirit of Delilah is assigned to destroy all men and women of prominence, people with a purpose in life, any pastor or leader who is in ministry. The devil sends women to churches that have this spirit to terminate the church and cause the church leader to commit emotional and physical adultery, thereby losing the blessing and anointing of Yahweh. Her role is through the door of relationships or marriages. She uses relationships to discover her victim’s strengths, so that she can destroy them, draining out their spiritual power and ultimately removing them from Yahweh’s Work. Sadly this spirit can be in someone and this person won’t realize that they are being used by a spirit of Delilah to destroy others. Please remember that even though we refer to Delilah as “her”, this spirit is genderless.

There are 18 Identifying Characteristics of the Delilah spirit:

1. Delilah is highly skilled in taming people through seduction (which may be accomplished with flattery, praise, friendship or sexual advances). Even the strongest of Christians cann be beguiled by her, if they do not stay alert in the Spirit. Delilah especially is after people of prominence and uniqueness; people in the spot light, anointed ministers of God, gifted men and women, and those who are in effective relationships or marriages. Her assignment is to drain the power and blessing of God from your life. When this is accomplished, just as she did with Sampson long ago, the formerly anointed person is made spiritually weak and ordinary. 2. Like Jezebel, she will fool those around her by being at the worship every Sabbath, at every Bible study and every all night prayer. She will be punctual and completely involved in many if not all spiritual activities, as this is her way to get close to the spiritual leaders. She wants his head on her lap. 3. Delilah’s love money. She is the modern day gold-digger but only far wiser and refined than the average money seeker. With one need or another, she will financially drain her victim. 4. She is immoral. She is filled with ungodly and perverse sensual desires and arts. She preys upon anyone who can best be used to weaken the Body of Christ, whether they are married or not. 5. Day after day, she will keep relentlessly pursuing and pressuring her victim to leave his/her marriage partner. She may seduce the Christian to become sexually involved with her. Or she may work to induce the spiritual target to run away with her or commit any other sin with her. This she will persuade softly – even over a period of many months or years - until the target listens to her voice. Enduring such long- term pressure should be totally unnecessary, as Christians should discern this spirit quickly and respond to it appropriately, rather than enduring its pressure over a long period of time. 6. Delilah is like a Jack of all trades. She knows the tricks, navigations, avenues, points and steps in getting a person’s attention. She is a chameleon who purposely takes on the likes and dislikes of her target. She will appear to ardently love hiking and backpacking, if her target is an avid outdoorsman. Most deceptively, she will also appear to love God and to be deeply concerned with the salvation of souls, if her target is truly evangelistic in heart. Whatever it takes to convince her intended victim that she is his/her soul-mate or soul-sister (as the case was with us), that is what she will appear to be. 7. Delilah will try to get close to people in your life in order to demolish you. She will do this by gaining your friends’ and family members’ confidences through politeness and kindness. Then as time goes by, your loved ones might begin to open up about you and your relationship to her. She can play miss Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 5

“shoulder to cry on” and miss “good listener”. Little by little a bond will develop and before you know it people in your life will join her in helping her pursuit of you – as her target. Great anointed men like Samson fell because of her guile. 8. Delilah works to wreck homes, marriages and relationships. 9. She is a seductress. This spirit is skilled in luring and taming men and women. You will find yourself being drawn to this sort of person without any particular reason and wonder why you are so excited to see him/her. It’s important to always put on the full Armor of God that you may stand! 10. Delilah is hellishly empowered to find out where you are strong and how to turn this strength into a vulnerability and weakness. Her assignment is to take your power, terminate your strengths and imprison you through your weaknesses. This hellish purpose is carried out (unless defeated by the power of Yahweh) so that you will be spiritually idle and ordinary like the rest of the world. 11. She has vast likeable qualities, which leave you confused on what you really like about her. Like a chameleon, she fits everywhere as a perfect, good Christian. In fact, if you were to begin to suspect her and suggest that she was at work in a person, others already under this spirit’s influence would jump to Delilah’s defense, insisting that the Delilah person is the most sincere and committed of Christians one could ever hope to meet! However those whom she has stung in the past know about her ugly side, but this track record is one she carefully covers from view. Often this is accomplished by uprooting and moving to a new area, leaving behind family and friends. 12. She is very knowledgeable about what men or women want and need emotionally and physically. Delilah knows how to treat her intended victim like a king. She’ll be willing to do everything that your spouse won’t - and she’ll do it exceptionally well. 13. She knows the vulnerable areas of her victim - and how to minister to them like a mother holds and comforts her son when he has fallen down. She is polite, gentle and quiet. She will not criticize, because she realizes that this causes her target to be defensive. Rather she is qualified in the language of praise. Praise is her native tongue. You may discern this spirit in a person who praises you more than your spouse, even in petty things that do not need praise - you will find the person with this spirit praising anyway. It is because this spirit is after your relationship. She especially takes advantage of a situation wherein your partner is meeting your emotional needs. 14. She is able to make her victim feel more secure within a short space of time through her pretended gentleness. She is trained and gifted in this. Delilah builds relationships with her prey founded on safety, praise, peace and warmth. But her true motives for presenting herself in this warm and caring manner are to destroy, which is quite the opposite of how she presents herself. Remember, Delilah is after the favor of God upon you, your family, your business, your ministry and your marriage. She will do all she can through seduction to make sure this favor departs from you and that you are completely neutralized and left bound in shame. 15. She will make you believe that you have some kind of deep connection together and that you were meant to be best friends or soul mates. Even though this is completely inappropriate and you are already with someone, the person with this spirit will indirectly pressure you daily until you believe it. 16. This spirit is persistent. The person with this spirit will pester you daily with sweet words. Do not think a “No” will stop them from pursuing you. The only way to win is to completely cut off all lines of communication with this hellishly empowered person. 17. Make-up, beautiful hair, appealing clothes and shoes are Delilah’s physical armor, if her target is a man. Likewise a man with this spirit will be very well groomed in a sexually attractive way and usually indirectly splashing out his money or financial assets, wining and dining his intended victim. 18. If the Delilah spirit is working in a woman, to seduce a Christian man, she will often design a secluded environment in order to trap a man into compromise with her. Only a man who flees from her will escape sin and her demonic bondage and destruction. Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 6

If your Christian fellowship group or spiritual family hasn’t already been infiltrated by a Jezebel or Delilah, you should be aware that such an infiltration is likely. And it may come in the form of one human face, masking both spirits – as happened to us. This is so likely because, the spirits of Jezebel and Delilah, as we have already shown, are the two leading principalities of darkness spearheading the attack against the Body of Messiah in the Last Days. Sadly, because of our ignorance, these spirits have been having great success at destroying. But, it is not God's Will for hell to prevail over His House! Warriors of Christ - be armed and vigilant! The spirits of Jezebel and Delilah must not be permitted to weaken or destroy any part of the Kingdom of God! And prayerfully recognizing them immediately is critical to victory against them.

This past Feast of Tabernacles Retreat was very special! We were praising Yahweh and rejoicing in eager anticipation of His soon Return – and the ultimate Tabernacles! If you were unable to join us in person, we are happy to inform you that the DVD’s are available from that retreat. As a result, you may enjoy the messages and blessings of Sukkot, long after it concluded. But here are few of the wonderful highlights from this spiritually special time.

On the first night, in our Tabernacles Celebration time, the audience was invited to participate in telling the true story of Yahshua’s Birth – at the right time! We sang, dressed up to portray the Bible parts, and re-enacted and retold the story with the script being straight out of Scripture. Then, every evening at this special time, we did something different to convey the beautiful meaning of this special Feast. You can enjoy each night’s special event in our Tabernacles Celebration DVD set.

Biblical Archaeology expert, Rod Blair came and blessed us with a powerful series called “Without Excuse”, in which he covered topics like Joseph/Imhotep, Saqqara, Moses, the pyramids, the amazing (Yah-glorifying) science behind rainbows, and much more. Also, at this retreat, we were excited to give our very first tour of the new “Out of Egypt and Temple Tours” Exhibits! There were so many retreat guests who participated in our tour’s “maiden voyage” that we had to divide up into tour groups with Mark and Shauna Manfredine as guides. It was a whole lot of fun! And everyone loved it (praise and glory to God)! So, here are a few pictures of our Feast tour… The first photo shows one tour group in the Pharaoh Djoser’s throne room. Next, we entered the Chamber of Imhotep, which shows evidence that the Biblical Joseph was known as Imhotep (a name which means “the voice of IM – I AM”). Then we braved the Ten Plagues of Egypt maze, and exited through the amazing waterfall wall Red-Sea-Crossing simulation (Yes, Mark, all your hard work and many loving hours of labor on this have really paid off – it is amazing to experience!)

Then we toured the Israel in the Wilderness Room with its Dophkah copper mines and Sanctuary exhibit – and Mount Sinai Theater playing “The Exodus” which shows the real Mount Sinai – in Arabia (Galatians 4). We then experienced the life-sized wilderness Sanctuary / Wilderness Tabernacle of Moses, explaining the Gospel Message contained in these Tabernacles emblems.

The tour currently concludes with the amazing Ezekiel Temple and New Jerusalem models. But, Shirley Thrush and we are excitedly working with Rod Blair to put in a new Planetarium in order to tell the Mazzaroth Messages Gospel in the Stars (we expect to begin work on that

project after the first of the year). Rod is currently working on the designs – and Shauna is busily working on her new Gospel in the Stars book – set to be ready in time for the planetarium grand opening. Throughout the Retreat, Gary and Bobbie Nicolaides blessed us by leading our worship in music! Gary also helped run the sound system and Melissa Dueck helped run the cameras and switcher to make sure the DVD’s and Livestream broadcasts were of the highest possible quality. (Thanks Gary, Bobbie, and Melissa!!) Debbie Grant and Vickie Reed worked tirelessly in the kitchen, serving up delicious, vegan meals. (Thanks Debbie and Vickie) And Danette Davis also helped in the kitchen making the braided challah bread (with Vickie) for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Danette also made her famous minestrone stew for the Marriage Supper banquet and program. It was a lovely Feast giving us a little foretaste of Heaven – which is just what the Father intended when He gave us these Times. 

 A Call to our Fellow Prayer Warriors! Expanding Ministry Opportunity & Hell’s Attacks… Mark and Shauna Manfredine and Lighted Way Ministries especially seek your prayers both for some exciting new developments and also for deliverance and leading in the latest of Satan’s attacks against us. First, we are really praising Yahweh for the way He is working and expanding our sphere of influence through our affiliation with Noah’s Ark. We are now hosting many events at the Noah’s Ark, which bring in a larger variety of people from the community, each touching a different spectrum of folks. We have a Wednesday prayer session (all we do is share prayer requests and pray). We hold Shabbat at the Ark, which is attended by a growing number of people. Shauna teaches a Scripture art class once a month (last month, she taught Scripture Art Journaling). We also plan to host VBS here, health classes here, and much more. Please join us in praying for this work. We seek the Father’s Name to be glorified and are looking for ways to bring folks to the Ark, so that they may see the displays here, all of which show that Yahweh’s Word is TRUE. Anyway, we’re very excited about what the Father is using us to do here and we truly covet your prayers for this new project. This past October was the first time Noah’s Ark had an events calendar – so this is all very new. And we see much opportunity to touch lives for God in this place. Next, we covet your prayers that Yahweh will help us find a new home/ministry base (for we still need a place that is Lighted Way Ministries’ base for many things). Our current home and base is not going to work out for us. One of the SDA Churches in this area became very militant against us – we are hated by some, for being Feast-keepers. They began pressuring our landlord to get rid of us a little over a year ago. At first, our landlord (an older couple who are also SDA’s) laughed it off. In fact, our landlord told us about the folks from this church pressuring him to get us out of his house. But, he said that he responded to their pressure by simply telling them that Mark and Shauna were good renters who took good care of the place (there are orchards and Lighted Way Ministries’ Newsletter: October-December, 2015 9 vineyards to care for – so this is no small task!) and that we always paid our rent on time – so, he had no intention of responding to this pressure against us. But within a few weeks of this conversation, our landlord surprised us by raising our rent $150.00 more per month (we’ve never had our rent raised before in anyplace we’ve lived). Then, it seemed the normal boundaries for renters and landlords didn’t mean much. One day, Shauna found the landlord coming in the back door (he needed to work on the electrical system) without having knocked or announced himself. This was disconcerting to say the least, and made it feel as if our home – wasn’t… A few months after this experience, our landlords came and began moving our things out of the shop (which our lease agreement with the landlord – signed by both them and us – clearly states is included in our rental). They were moving our things, again without our permission or fore-knowledge. At this point, we knew that finding another place to live was necessary. So, at this time we are praying about finding the right place – at an affordable price. We are really praying to be able to purchase a home/ministry base, so that we will have the freedom to host events and use the place as the Heavenly Father impresses – without restrictions or landlord issues. We thank you for joining us in lifting up these opportunities and needs before our Heavenly Father’s Throne of Grace. We trust Him to lead us to the right home/ministry base, and to be glorified (in answer to prayer) in all that He is starting to use us to accomplish through the new Noah’s Ark venue, tours, and planned events!  Our NEW Feasts for the Feasts Cookbook… Many have attended our Feasts and Retreats and have enjoyed the food so much that they asked us for recipes.
