“Between the Masses” Adult Formation

• First Sunday of Lent - February 18 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Christ King o Dr. Daniel Scholz (Cardinal Stritch University) Prophets in ancient Israel: God’s Agents for Social Change

• Second Sunday of Lent - February 25 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Christ King o Steve Blaha (Marquette University) Hope for the Beloved Community: An Ignatian Approach to Racial Reconciliation. Lent o ers us an opportunity to reect upon our walk with the Lord and his invitation to give witness to the kingdom. We regularly experience brokenness in our communities due to racism/racial advantage. Ignatian (Jesuit) spirituality o ers practical ways to live in God's love and thereby bring racial healing to our homes, neighborhoods, and cities.

• Third Sunday of Lent - March 4 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Christ King o Mr. Al McCauley (Pius XI Catholic High School) Living the Little Way. Her life was brief and seemingly obscure, yet St. Therese of Lisieux is venerated around the world today as one of the most beloved of all Catholic . This great devotion likely stems from her accessible spiritual path to holiness known as "The Little Way." Lent is an ideal time to reect on this simple model of living justly, and to heed the timeless wisdom of this humble .

• Fourth Sunday of Lent - March 11 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Christ King o Mr. Daniel Williams ( Seminary) The Common Good and Communion.

• Fifth Sunday of Lent - March 18 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Christ King o Rev. Marty Pable, OFM Cap. Blessed Solanus Casey: to the Troubled. Fr. Solanus Casey, declared “Blessed” by Francis in November, 2017, is from and studied at Saint Francis Minor Seminary before joining the Capuchin Order. Blessed Solanus had a special gift of healing and compassion to those in troubled situations. Fr. Marty Pable, a roommate of Blessed Solanus, will share his life and spirituality as a model of social action for us as disciples today.
