ABOUT CAROL LEIFER Author, award-winning writer, actress and stand-up comedian. In Carol’s own words, she loves making people laugh. Currently a writer and consulting producer for HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, Carol has been nominated for four Emmy Awards for her work on the landmark television shows Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show and Saturday Night Live and the prestigious Writers Guild Award for her work on Modern Family. The star of five comedy specials that aired on HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central, Carol holds the record (a remarkable 25 times) for the most appearances on Late Night with David Letterman. She has appeared as a guest on many television and radio shows including Today, The View, The Tonight Show, Real Time with Bill Maher, Watch What Happens Live, and Howard Stern. Carol has written for the Oscars telecast nine times, more than any other female writer, and was the co-executive producer of NBC’s Better Late Than Never. She was also the Head Writer for Carol Burnett’s Netflix series, A Little Help, streaming now. Carol is also the author of two hilarious, acclaimed books: When You Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Crying.
