Gore Hill Park Fitness Equipment – Fact Sheet

Gore Hill Park is a 4.4 hectare area of land bordered by The Pacific Highway, Reserve Road, Royal Hospital and the Gore Hill Cemetery, St Leonards. The park is Crown Land, under the care, control and management of Willoughby City Council.

The park has a number of recreational facilities including an oval for cricket and AFL, a basketball court and fitness equipment area.

Council is looking to replace the existing fitness equipment and would like your feedback on the three proposed styles.

It comprises of stationary individual exercise equipment pieces grouped in one area with signage at each station to coach users with graphics and text, describing and illustrating how to use the equipment safely and effectively. OPTION 3 – FIT FOR PARKS

The Fit For Parks outdoor fitness equipment consists of individual exercise stations, using a combination of stationary and moving equipment pieces to offer cardio, strength training and stretching. The equipment has signage at each station with graphics and text, describing and illustrating how to use the equipment safely and effectively.
