PRESENTS WAYNE BRADY LIVE AT THE RED ROBINSON SHOW THEATRE

Coquitlam, BC – Emmy Award-winning Wayne Brady is one of the most versatile performers in show business today. He sings, dances, acts and is an improvisational genius. It was in 1998 when Brady joined the cast of ABC’s improv comedy series, Whose Line Is It Anyway? where he won an Emmy for “Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical or Comedy Series.” In 2001, he hosted his own variety series, The Wayne Brady Show which ran for three seasons on ABC before being revamped as a syndicated daytime talk show for two seasons during which time he picked up two Emmys for “Outstanding Talk Show Host“ with the show winning an Emmy for “Outstanding Talk Show.” In 2005, Brady completed a run on Broadway playing the role of “Billy Flynn” in the production of Chicago while on the big screen, he starred in the film, Roll Bounce for Fox Searchlight. The following year, he starred in the Screen Gems motion picture, Crossover and in the independent film, The List. In addition, he completed voiceover roles in the animated features, Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild (2005), The Adventures of Brer Rabbit (2006) and Foodfight (2009).
Brady has also enjoyed a successful career as a television game show host … first on FOX’s reality competition series, Celebrity Duets in 2006 and then the next year, hosting FOX’s prime time game show, Don’t Forget the Lyrics! which ran for two seasons. Currently Brady can be seen as the host of CBS’s hit daytime game show, Let’s Make A Deal. With respect to his singing career, Brady’s debut R&B album, A Long Time Coming was released by Peak Records last year and features the single, “Ordinary.” And just this past summer, he starred on stage at the Hollywood Bowl playing the role of “Tom Collins” in the staged production of the musical, Rent which was directed by Neil Patrick Harris. Brady continues to tour throughout North America with his hilarious improv stage show which incorporates singing, audience participation and a musical homage to some of his biggest inspirations and will be bringing the show to Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre in April, 2011.
