Assisting Afghanistan under a bilateral agreement, the Mongolians have a great deal of experience with equipment of Russian origin. The Mongolians assisted ATT-K personnel with instruction on the Russian 122mm D-30 Howitzer and its sighting system and Russian PM-22 Aiming circle (director). In recent years this organization, which had its origin in the original RAA Historical Society, focused its support on the Australian Army Artillery Museum (AAAM) at North Fort in Sydney.
