OVERALL OBJECTIVES • To identify new sites for survey in the county. • Encourage volunteer interest in bryophytes. • To use key species as a focus for public/school engagement. • To raise awareness of these species and the issues affecting them.

Irish Daltonia • Spreading into from • No actions suitable. Daltonia Ireland – likes ultrahumid spachnoides willow in conifer areas. One record from Brechfa Forest and one from near Llyn Brianne.

Lead moss • Found on two disused lead • SSSI protection for Ditrichum Ditrichum mines at Rhandirmwyn. The plumbicola and Scopelophila plumbicola main site was designated in cataractae 2013 as Mwyngloddfa Nantymwyn SSSI.

Tongue-leaved • Found on one disused lead • SSSI protection for Ditrichum copper moss mines at Rhandirmwyn. The plumbicola and Scopelophila Scopelophila site was designated in 2013 as cataractae cataractae Mwyngloddfa Nantymwyn SSSI.

Awl-leaved • Found on acidic banks above • Further survey for Ditrichum ditrichum coastal creeks.
