Tämän katsauksen arviot on tuotettu syyskuun 2016 aikana. Alueet ennakoivat, että positiiviseen suuntaan kääntynyt talouskehitys jatkuu alueilla lähiajat. Käänne parempaan oli nähtävissä jo keväällä, ja nyt yksikään alue ei enää usko talouskehityksen heikkenevän. Vaikka yleiskuva onkin myönteinen, ovat kasvuodotukset edelleen maltillisia. Myös työttömyys jatkaa laskusuunnassa ja työpaikkoja avau- tuu aiempaa enemmän. Tosin pitkäaikaistyöttömyys tulee olemaan ongelmallinen. Ongelmat työvoiman saatavuu- dessa ovat nousseet taas pinnalle eri puolilla maata. Rakentamisen piristyminen näkyy positiivisesti varsinkin maakuntakeskuksissa. Esimerkiksi Helsingin, Tampereen, Turun ja Joensuun seuduilla rakentamisen merkitys talouden paranemisessa korostuu. Meriteollisuuden saamat uudet tilaukset kohentavat näkymiä erityisesti Turun ja Rauman seuduilla, mutta alihankintaketjun kautta myönteiset vaikutukset heijastuvat kautta maan. Metsäteollisuuden suurinvestoinnit ovat Keski-Suomen talouskasvun taustalla ja alan investointisuunnitelmat ovat edelleen mittavia. Kaupan alan murros jatkuu ja alan näkymät ovat epävarmat. Maataloudessa vaikeudet jatkuvat ennen muuta tuot- tajahintojen laskun johdosta. Monilla alueilla työttömyys kääntynyt laskuun ja avoimien työpaikkojen määrä on kasvanut. Vaikka työmarkkinat ovatkin piristyneet, odotetaan pitkäaikaistyöttömien määrän kasvavan edelleen. Työvoiman kysynnän piristymisen johdosta keskustelu osaavan työvoiman saatavuudesta tulee korostumaan. Bedömningarna i denna översikt har gjorts i september 2016. Regionerna bedömer att den ekonomiska utvecklingen i regionerna kommer att fortsätta i positiv riktning under den närmaste tiden. En förändring till det bättre kunde ses redan i våras, och nu tror ingen av regionerna längre att den ekonomiska utvecklingen kommer att gå nedåt. Även om den allmänna bilden är positiv, är tillväxtförväntningarna fortfarande måttliga. Även arbetslösheten fortsätter sjunka och det blir allt fler lediga jobb. Långtidsarbetslösheten kommer dock att vara problematisk. Problem med tillgång på arbetskraft har återigen blivit aktuella på olika håll i landet. Att det skett ett uppsving i byggandet syns positivt i synnerhet i landskapscentrumen. Exempelvis i Helsingfors-, Tammerfors-, Åbo- och Joensuuregionen är byggandet av stor betydelse när det gäller förbättringen av ekonomin. Nya beställningar för marinindustrin förbättrar utsikterna i synnerhet i Åbo- och Raumoregionen, men via under- leverantörskedjan sprids de positiva effekterna till hela landet. Skogsindustrins stora investeringar ligger bakom den ekonomiska tillväxten i Mellersta Finland, och investeringsplanerna inom branschen i fråga är fortfarande omfat- tande. Brytningsskedet inom handelsbranschen fortgår, och utsikterna för branschen är osäkra. Inom jordbruket fortsätter svårigheterna framför allt på grund av lägre producentpriser. I många regioner har arbetslösheten börjat minska och antalet lediga jobb ökat. Även om arbetsmarknaden har piggnat till väntar man sig att långtidsarbetslösheten fortsätter att öka. På grund av den ökade efterfrågan på arbetskraft kommer diskussionen om tillgången på kompetent arbetskraft att intensifieras. The evaluations in this review were made in September 2016. The regions anticipate that the positive trends of economic development will continue in the near future. The turn for the better could already be seen in the spring, and none of the regions now expect a downward trend in their economic development. Even if the general picture is positive, growth expectations remain moderate. The unemployment rate also keeps falling, and more vacancies are becoming available. Long-term unemployment will be a problem, however. Labour availability has again emerged as a problem in different parts of the country. On a positive note, a revival can be seen in the construction sector, especially in regional centres. In the areas of Helsinki, Tampere, Turku and Joensuu, for example, construction plays a significant role in the improving economic situation. The new orders received by the maritime industry mean a brighter outlook for the areas of Turku and Rauma, in particular, while the knock-on effects will be felt across the country through the subcontracting chain. Economic growth in Central Finland has been boosted by major forest industry investments, and the sector is planning further large investments. The trade sector is undergoing a transition, and its outlook is uncertain. The difficulties facing agriculture are set to continue, primarily because of decreases in producer prices. Unemployment rates have begun to fall in many regions, and the number of vacancies has grown. Although the job market has revived, it is expected that the level of long-term unemployment will continue to rise. A stronger demand for labour and cuts planned in vocational education and training will fuel a debate about the availability of skilled labour.     AILA MIELIKÄINEN VERBIEN PIKAPUHEMUOTOJEN MORFOSYNTAKSIA ielihistoriallisessa tutkimuksessa määriteltyjen äänteenmuutosten ulkopuolelle jää joukko epäsäännöllisiä muutoksia, jotka eivät toteudu systemaattisesti sa- moissa asemissa samoin ehdoin. Näihin kuuluvat analogian ohella erilaiset ly- hentymä- tai kulumamuodot, joiden taustalla on pyrkimys artikulaatioenergian säästöön. Altteimpia tällaisille kulumille ovat lausepainottomassa asemassa, nopeatempoisessa puheessa esiintyvät suurtaajuiset pronominit, lukusanat ja partikkelit. (Esim. Erkki Itko- nen 1966: 205–207; Ravila 1975: 44.) Varsinkin adverbeista ja konjunktioista on pika- puheisuuden vuoksi syntynyt monia poikkeuksellisia, irrallisiksi jääviä äänneasuja, joita ei voi sijoittaa varsinaisten äänteenmuutosten yhteyteen, esimerkiksi siä < siellä, sit < sitten, kans ~ kaa < kanssa, ni < niin, et < että. Sanansisäisten nasaalien ja likvidojen kadosta voi silti hahmottaa säännöllisempiäkin järjestelmiä: n on kadonnut laajalti suomen murteissa persoonapronomineista minä, sinä (mä ~ mää : mu-, mie ~ miä : miu-) ja m demonstratiivipronomineista tämä, nämä (tää, nää). Samaan yhteyteen kuuluu myös l:n ja n:n kato eräiden suurtaajuisten verbien taivutusmuodoista: en oo, tuut, meette, paap pois. Koska nasaalit ja l ovat muissa samanrakenteisissa sanoissa säilyneet (kana, sama, kylä), kato ei ole odotuksenmukainen äänteenmuutos. The focus is on standard negation, i.e. the negation of declarative verbal main clauses. The dialectal variation that Finnish shows in its negative construction is examined in the light of current typological knowledge of the expression of negation. Developmental trends connected to the micro-typological variation are also discussed, Finnish dialects are compared with related and neighbouring languages, and relevant theoretical and methodological issues relating to the meeting point of typology and dialectology are addressed. In recent years, the relationship between typology and dialectology, two mutually independent subdisciplines of linguistics, has received a fair amount of attention. The contributions in Kortmann (2004) and also some authors in Nevalainen, Klemola & Laitinen (2006) address the points of contact between these disciplines and how bringing them closer together could benefit each of them.

Not obtaining acceptance from relevant stakeholders is related with financial (Franks et al., 2014) and reputational backlashes (Prno & Slocombe, 2014) setting the company under unnecessary risks. This quantitative case study is the first attempt to comprehensively portray Yara’s image as perceived by the residents of Siilinjärvi, where the site of Yara Suomi Oy produces fertilizers for agriculture, feed and forest industry and soil improvements. Operating in the immediate vicinity of the municipality of Siilinjärvi, maintaining acceptance of local community is essential while exploring the prospects for future. Hence, this research aims to evaluate the level of the current SLO and examine the potential differentiation in attitudes between socio-demographic factors along with the residents’ relation to Yara.
