BAKER BOYS Sunday, February 6, BBC One Wales, 9pm .co.uk/wales

It’s back to business in this week’s Baker Boys (Sunday, February 6, BBC One Wales) and as the orders start coming in to Valley Bara once again, the workforce is more than happy.

But right in the middle of a crucial order one of the ovens plays up again and the team must act quickly to ensure they deliver on time, to avoid giving the new co-operative a bad reputation. Unfortunately, along with replacing the oven comes a hefty price tag. Rob turns out to be the hero of the hour as he secures a new deal that will pay for the equipment. But the Valley Bara workers must now work 14 hour shifts to be in with a chance of satisfying the new clients’ demands.

The added pressure and lack of sleep start to take their toll and tensions begin to mount between the workforce. And something’s got to give.

Sarah (Eve Myles) and Rob (Matthew Gravelle) start to plan for their wedding and as the big day gets closer, emotions are running high.

MATCH OF THE DAY LIVE: SWANSEA CITY V CARDIFF CITY Sunday, February 6, BBC One Wales, 1pm RADIO WALES SPORT Sunday, February 6, BBC Radio Wales, 12.30pm PÊL-DROED: ABERTAWE V CAERDYDD Sunday, February 6, BBC Radio Cymru, 1.10pm bbc.co.uk/wales/sport bbc.co.uk/cymru/chwaraeon

It’s a big day for fans of Cardiff City and Swansea City on Sunday, February 6, as the teams face each other in a crucial Championship game.

Jake Humphrey presents live coverage from the Liberty Stadium on BBC One Wales as Swansea City take on Cardiff City in the Championship in Match of the Day Live - Swansea City v Cardiff City.

BBC Radio Wales will have full coverage of the game in Radio Wales Sport with Steffan Garrero from 12.30pm and on BBC Radio Cymru from 1.10pm there’s live coverage in Pêl-Droed: Abertawe v Caerdydd. Following the game on Radio Wales Steffan Garrero hosts a phone-in giving fans a chance to air their views.

Both high-flying clubs have genuine hopes of gaining promotion to the English top flight, a league no Welsh club has competed in since Swansea’s relegation at the end of the 1982/83 season. The Swans beat their great rivals 1-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium during November. Victory over the Bluebirds this time around would see them complete a first-ever league double.

SCRUM V LIVE: WARRIORS V BLUES Friday, February 11, BBC Two Wales, 7.30pm bbc.co.uk/scrumv

As the Wales national squad prepares for their second Six Nations game of the 2011 tournament against Scotland at Murrayfield, the Blues are at Firhill park in Glasgow to take on the Warriors in a Magners League clash on Friday night.

Gareth Lewis introduces live coverage of the game in Scrum V Live: Warriors v Blues (Friday, February 11, BBC Two Wales) and is joined by former Glasgow and Scotland winger Kenny Logan and former Wales and Lions scrum half Robert Jones. Commentary on the game is from Stuart Davies and Gareth Charles. Viewers can press red for extra commentaries and the Scrum V Fan Scene with Rick O’Shea when the game is in play.

The last time the two teams met at the Cardiff City Stadium last November, the Blues took their Scottish cousins down to a thumping 38-6 defeat. With the Blues fourth in the league and the Warriors towards the bottom of the table, there’s all to play for with both teams looking for those vital points.

On Sunday, February 13, on BBC One Wales, Jason Mohammad returns with the second in the new series of the Scrum V Six Nations Special. Jason will be joined in the BBC Wales Rugby Club by special guests with extensive highlights and in-depth analysis of Wales’ second game in the 2011 Six Nations, plus some exclusive reports.

HIDDEN HISTORIES Thursday, February 10, BBC Two Wales, 7.30pm

In the final episode of Hidden Histories (Thursday, February 10, BBC Two Wales), Eddie Butler travels to Trawsfynydd to see how the once cutting edge nuclear power station is scaling down after being decommissioned.

Built in Snowdonia National Park to resemble the mass of a medieval castle, the structure and the decommissioning process are being meticulously recorded by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales so that future generations can marvel at what used to take place.

Eddie goes inside the massive towers of the power station, and learns how it is being transformed by public demand as it sits out the decades before its radiation will be reduced to safe levels.

From north Wales to south, Eddie goes back in time to see the wreck of what is believed to be a pilot cutter, embedded in the sand at Sully Island in the Bristol Channel.

Matthew Senior, from Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum, reveals how in the early 20th century, the race to pilot steamships and other vessels into the safe harbour of Swansea, Cardiff and Newport, was a cut-throat business, with 66 pilot cutters recorded as being sunk in the treacherous waters.

But the Royal Commission’s Deanna Groom may have surprising news for Eddie as they go out to collect evidence from what they think may be the last resting place of the cutter Baratanach.

And Heledd Fychan travels to Skomer Island to learn how modern technology is set to spoil accepted wisdom about the island’s first settlers.
