Actually, in the industry, there are some quality teachers, but our college does not give that much salary they want. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students' industry-ready. Semester exams are quite tough. The pass percentage is 75%. Other: I have chosen this course because of my parents. The course is very good, but I want to change that the companies do not take so much fresher and the fees for this course is much high. Only 150-160 students are there, so there is no crowd in our college. The campus connectivity is good. Our college conducts a scholarship test before joining the college. The campus surroundings are not that much good. Our college does not conduct extracurricular activities.

3.0 Placements 3 Infrastructure 2 Faculty & Course Curriculum 3 Crowd & Campus Life 3 It is a professional course. The course gives high salary jobs, but it will need a lot of hard work. Placements: About 80% of students were placed from our course. The salary package offered depends on our experience. Initially, the salary package offered will be low, but it will increase with experience. Tata is one of the recruiting companies for our course. About 20% of students got internships from the course in Tata, Sha-Shib, etc. Roles offered in this course are technician, AME and other posts in airlines. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it is a bit old. Wi-Fi is not available for students, and a net blocker is also installed in the college. Classrooms are fine, and the library is also fine. The hostel is very bad, and the rooms are very small. The mess is bad, and the cleanliness of the mess is also not good. The canteen is closed most of the time. Medical facilities are fine. Volleyball, football, cricket, etc., are played.

Disclaimer: This PDF is auto-generated based on the information available on Shiksha as on 23-Sep-2021. Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. This course makes students industry-ready, and 30% of practicals are performed in the real environment. So, it gives an experience which can be gained later when you are searching for a job. Semester exams are moderate, and any student who is good in the study can pass them with a good percentage. Other: I chose this course because I was interested in aircraft. The best thing about my course is you can get a job in any country. There is nothing to be improved about my course. Events are rarely organised. There is no crowd on the campus, and ragging is strictly prohibited. There is a separate committee for that. Students can also roam around the campus to refresh their mood.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not much good, and it needs to be maintained. There are classrooms, but they are not maintained. Classrooms are not good for students and need to be updated as per needs. The hostel is not good enough for students, and the food served is also not good. Faculty: Some teachers here are good, while some are not good. They need to improve their teaching skills and need to be updated as per the course and time. Getting ready for industry-ready depends on students who are interested in this field. Semester exams are good and tough if the students have not studied. Placements: Companies like Tata, Textron and Silent recruit AME mechanical students for tech publications and instruments handling. These companies conduct an online exam, and if you clear those exams, you can appear for the next round of interview. Our 27th and 28th batch is the best till now in this institution. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good, but all the basic requirements are available here for education. The library has reference books and modules. There are two aircraft for practicals and module wise labs for practical knowledge.

Faculty: The course duration is 3 years with 6 semesters, and it has 11 modules or subjects. DGCA conducts examination over these modules, and it is held 4 times a year. Students can appear for the module of their choice. You have to clear all modules within 10 years after getting your computer number. Airforce retired teachers have good knowledge and experience of working in different aircraft.

Wi-Fi was available, but it was not useful. Cameras were also provided, but they work only when exams are conducted. However, the highest salary offered to a technician is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. Companies like Air India and Indigo visit here for placements. About 80% of the students got internships in Air India. The role offered to students of AME is a technician, which guides us to become more careful and alert in our lives.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good here, but the hostel is not good. There are no sports or medical facilities. The quality of the food served here is more or less fine. But sports events are not organised, which is a disappointing thing. Our college does not even have a table tennis board or any other things. Faculty: Teachers are great here, and they help us in every possible way. They are qualified, and some of them have experience in Indian Air Force. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready. This course is really good and unique, and you can have a better future in India in this course. Other: I wanted to be a pilot, but I failed the medical test, so now I want to become an AME because I love aviation. I wish that placements could be better for our course. In our college, fests are not organised, and freshers party was not organised. Only teachers' day programme or any cultural programme like Ganesh puja or any other pujas are conducted here.

Placements: Around 40% of the students got placed from the campus and the rest all had to find on their own. Only students who had more than 5 modules got good placements, and others were made to choose worthless objects. Corona was a big reason for delayed placements. There were no jobs initially. We had a paid internship for 6 months.

Infrastructure: There was infrastructure for our college. It was a rented property behind a bungalow in Aundh. The classrooms were 6 small classrooms in the main building and more 6 small classrooms in the practical training area. Mess food was fine, and the hostels were not good at all. Every year, sports competitions were held at a rented sports ground. Faculty: Some of the teachers were knowledgeable and well qualified. They were helpful in everything possible. The course curriculum was relevant but doesn't make students industry-ready as such because this field requires more practical knowledge. It was not that difficult to pass the semester exams if you pay attention and study regularly. Other: I opted for this course because it is the most exciting and glamorous field. But you cannot survive in this field with just that. So choose wisely. Opt this only if you are interested, love aviation, and can understand that it's a great responsibility to become an aircraft maintenance technician/engineer. Passing the modules is not easy, and you require a lot of dedication to achieve your goal.
