Harry Connick, Jr. to hold Keynote Conversation at PromaxBDA’s Station Summit

Grammy and Emmy-winning musician, actor and performer Harry Connick, Jr. will talk about his creative journey and vision in a Keynote Conversation at PromaxBDA's Station Summit conference from June 21 - 24 in Las Vegas.

Connick will speak Wednesday, June 22 at the Mirage Resort during the annual gathering of television station marketing and promotion professionals. From concert halls around the world to Hollywood movie screens, the Broadway stage and primetime television, Connick has done it all. This fall he enters broadcast syndication with a new daytime entertainment show Harry.

Harry will reflect Connick's hosting and entertainment skills, as well as his broad career in music, film, television, and Broadway with a live band, comedic segments, man-on-the-street interviews, live musical performances, parodies, audience participation and more surprises.

Justin Stangel, Eric Stangel and Jason Kurtz are executive producers along with Connick and Ann Marie Wilkins. Harry is produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution.

Connick was born in , and established himself as a musician, singer, composer, live performer best-selling artist, actor and voice artist and through movies including When Harry Met Sally, Little Man Tate, Copycat, Independence Day, Hope Floats, The Iron Giant, My Dog Skip and Dolphin Tale.

On television, he was a lead actor in ABC's "South Pacific" and then scored a recurring role in the groundbreaking sitcom "Will & Grace." Connick also brought his music to the small screen with his Christmas special on NBC and his Emmy-winning, PBS specials Only You in Concert and Live in Concert on Broadway. In 2013, he joined the judging panel of American Idol alongside Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban.

Connick's experience also includes Broadway. He received Tony nominations both for his debut work on Broadway as composer and lyricist for the musical Thou Shalt Not and for his debut as the lead actor in the Tony-winning revival of . He has also adapted The Happy Elf for children's theater.

Connick is also involved in charitable cases, including efforts to help help New Orleans rebuild after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and spearheading the city's "Musician's Village" that provides homes for Katrina-displaced musicians and centers on the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music, a teaching facility for children, performance hall, recording studio and gathering place for the community.
