REGULATIONS

The final text of these Supplementary Regulations shall be the English version, which shall be used should any dispute arise as to their interpretation. Headings in this document are for ease of reference only and do not form part of these Supplementary Regulations.

Article 1 – Organisation

The Competition, which has the status of an International Competition, shall be run in conformity with: - the International Sporting Code ("the Code") and its Appendices, - the National Sporting Code where applicable, - the official FIA Bulletins, - the General Prescriptions applicable to International Hill Climb Competitions, - the Sporting Regulations of the FIA International Hill Climb Cup (“the Sporting Regulations”), and - these Supplementary Regulations.

Registration procedure and entry form The entry form may be obtained directly from the Organiser or from the Organiser's website.

In order to be taken into consideration, the entry form, duly dated and signed by the Driver and the Competitor, must be sent to the Organiser before the closing date.

Rejections, Withdrawals: In the event that an entry is rejected or the Competition is cancelled, the entry fees shall be reimbursed in full.

In case of withdrawal for reasons of force majeure (no-show for administrative checking and scrutineering) after the publication of the list of entries, 90% of the base entry fees shall be reimbursed to the Competitor(s), subject to receipt of a written request.

Article 3 – Eligible cars – Groups and Categories

3.1 Category 1 – Production cars: The Competition is open to cars holding a national technical passport and complying with the prescriptions of FIA Appendix J (unless otherwise indicated) for the following groups:

Group N Production cars, including Group R1. Touring cars, including World Rally Cars, and cars from Groups R2 and R3. Group S20 cars (Circuit and Rally combined), including Groups R4 and . Group GT Grand Touring cars (GT3 and RGT combined).

3.2 Category 2 – Competition cars: The Competition is open to cars holding a national technical passport and complying with the prescriptions of FIA Appendix J (unless otherwise indicated) for the following groups:

Group D/E2-SS (Single-seater) International Formula or Free Formula single-seater racing cars with a cylinder capacity of 3000cm3 or below. Rule specific to the Cup: only open wheeled single-seater racing cars are permitted. Group CN Two-seater production sports cars, open or closed, with a cylinder capacity of 3000cm3 or below. Group E2-SC (Sports car) Two-seater racing cars, open or closed, with a cylinder capacity of 3000cm3 or below. Group E2-SH (Silhouette) Cars having the appearance of a large production road car with at least 2 seats and the same shaped windscreen as this car. Cylinder capacity 6500cm3 or below.

3.3 Category 3 – E1 cars: The Competition is open to cars holding a national technical passport and complying with the prescriptions of FIA Appendix J (unless otherwise indicated) for the following groups:

Group E1 Production, Touring or Large Scale Series Production cars having at least 4 seats (excluding 2+2), as defined by Article 277 of Appendix J, Category 1. Cylinder capacity 6500cm3 or below.

3.4 Cars will be divided into the following cylinder classes:

Article 4 – Obligations of Participants

Competition numbers: The Organiser shall provide each participant with at least two sets of Competition numbers, which must be clearly displayed on both sides of the vehicle throughout the Competition. Vehicles without their correct Competition numbers shall not be allowed to take the start.

Advertising: The Organiser has made the following advertising arrangements: - Logo of the "Cup": positioning according to the Appendix to the Sporting Regulations - Other: Reinhard KASTNER spareparts, wheels and accessories for vehicles

Article 6 – Insurance

In accordance with legal requirements, the Organiser has taken out one or more insurance policies against the following risks:

- Third Party Insurance in the amount of € 5.000.000 for personal damage per each occurrence, but not more than € 3.000.000 per individual person € 1.100.000 for property damage for the event.

- Accident insurance per insured persons for driver helpers € 15.500 in case of death € 31.000 in case of invalidity (200% progression)

spectators € 15.500 in case of death € 31.000 in case of invalidity

The Organiser's third party insurance is valid for the entire duration of the Competition, not only during official practice and race heats but also for travelling from the parking area to the course of the Competition and back.

Article 7 – Protests and appeals

Protest fee: Status International € 500,00

Appeal fee set by the ASN: Status International € 1500,00

International appeal fee (FIA): € 6000,00

Any protest must be lodged in accordance with the prescriptions of the Code. Protests must be made in writing and given to the clerk of the course or to his assistant, or in their absence to a steward, accompanied by the requisite protest fees.

If the protest requires the dismantling and re-assembly of various parts of a car, the claimant must also pay a - 9 - deposit which shall be set by the stewards. Competitors have the right to appeal, as established in Articles 15.1 to 15.4 of the Code and as provided for in the regulations of the International Court of Appeal.

Article 8 – Podium, Prizes and Awards

Article 10 –Start procedure

The Competition cars will be started in accordance to the DMSB-course licence in intervals of at least 30 sec.

Article 11 – Parc Fermé

The Service parc is required as Parc Fermé for all Competiton Cars of the Competition according Part B.

All Competition Cars have to stay within the Parc Fermé until expiring of protest period (30 min after posting of the Class-results) according the ISC respectively the Hill Climb Regulations of the DMSB. The cars have to hold for final checking by the scrutineers. The Clerk of the Course will inform the Competitors when Parc Fermé will be opened (for example via loudspeakers).

Article 12 – Prizes and Awards

12.1 Trophies, Cashprices and/or special prices shall be awarded according the rules out of Part A, art. 8.

Article 16 – Protests and Appeals

For Protests and appeals it is to apply the Code, the General Regulations for Motor Sport Competitions of the

- 16 - DMSB, the legal - and the procedural ordinance of the DMSB. For the national Competition it is fixed as follows

Protest fee set by the ASN: Status National A € 300,00 Status International € 500,00

Appeal fee set by the ASN: Status National A € 1000,00 Status International € 1500,00

(protest – and appeal fee is VAT zero-rated)

If the protest requires the dismantling and re-assembly of various parts of a car, the claimant must also pay a deposit which shall be set by the stewards.

The organizer explains that the Competition will run under the provisions of the Code, the rules of DMSB and this Supplement Regulation.

The organizer has to ensure that all workers and supporters employed by the organizers who are not subject to licensing, are obliged to recognize and comply with the provisions of the FIA and the DMSB.

INT. 36th ADAC BERGRENNEN MICKHAUSEN (DEU) 2017

1 – Additional provisions by the Organiser

1.1. The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to make an additional drivers briefing while the Event at which the drivers have to take part in person. Such kind of decision will be noted to all participants in time.

1.2 The participants are obliged to use only the pit places which have been assigned by the organiser. Contravenes will be punished by the stewards of the meeting.

1.3 The participants and their team members are obliged to behave in a manner that nobody is endangered or bothered more than unavoidable. Especially driving of motorized vehicles by children is not allowed within the area of the event. Offences are notified to the stewards of the meeting for an adequate penalty.

1.4 The paddock area is used for regular traffic regulations (only notified legal vehicles allowed, drivers have to hold a driving licence, alcoholic limit etc.) after the returning of the last run per day (practise and/or race). Only movements of competition cars for technical purposes are allowed acc. to Art. 14.1.3 until sunset and after sunset on special request. Contravenes might be punished by Police.

1.5 All thruways in the paddock have to be kept free in a manner that passing is possible at least a half side (Rescue way!). Spinning of the tyres in the paddock is strictly prohibited. Offences will be penalised by the Stewards.

1.6 On all car-movements within the area of the event, all drivers are strictly obliged to wear safety belts. Wearing of crash helmets is obligatory for drivers of single- and two-seater racing cars and is recommended for drivers of touring cars.

1.7 Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to take any person on board during the return voyage. Failure to adhere to these provisions shall result in penalisation by the stewards, which may go as far as exclusion from the event.

1.8 Starting rules: in ascending order of cylinder classes and within that in descending order of the start number.

1.9 The conditions for admission to the start of the heats of the race are as follows:

1.9.1 For the FIA International Hill Climb Cup: a) Driver must complete at least one practice heat (see Art. 17.5.2 of FIA IHCC Sporting Regulations). b) Special cases shall be submitted to the stewards of the meeting.

1.9.2 For the National Predicates: a) Driver must complete at least two practice heats (see Art. 3.4 of the DMSB-Berg-Regulation 2017). b) Special cases shall be submitted to the stewards of the meeting.

1.10 The conditions for drawing up the classifications are as follows: a) Classification is based on the total times of the best two finished race heats led through in the competition. The quicker total time will determine the succession. b) In case a participant has not finished one race heat he is allowed to continue the Competition as far as the Safety criteria personal and that of the competition car are fulfilled.

- 18 - 1.11 In case the entry of the chicane at finish (parking drive through) hasn’t been passed the run shall be continued straight ahead. For this concerned run there will be added a penalty of 15 sec each by a judge of fact.

1.12 The maximum number of participants admitted in total in the international and national competition will be 180. The Date of receipt of entry will be decisive for acceptance whereby drivers which already scored points in the individual Championships (the FIA International Hill Climb Cup has priority) and in the ranking within the first till tenth be placed will be preferred.
