BIO Paula Mehmetukaj is an MBA student and founder of the Bashke Foundation. The word Bashkë means “together” in Albanian and perfectly explains the core of her project: building a community together. The Bashkë Foundation uses public art to rejuvenate public places to build stronger communities. She’s also an activist for women's rights, environmental protection and advocates against animal abuse. Paula believes it’s important that women support each other and come together to fight for their rights. She’s dedicated herself as Red Cross volunteer and also plants trees with the Municipality of Tirana. In the future, she hopes to enter the TV and entertainment industry so her voice can be heard everywhere in the world. Alina Luz Akselrad is dedicated to helping women build their confidence and considers philanthropy a lifestyle. She has certificates in persuasive writing and children’s rights from Harvard University and recently published her own book that offers guidance and empowerment to young women. Alina also volunteers in different organizations that fight against child malnutrition and has her own advocacy campaign, “Embrace Your Power,” that aims at improving women's self-confidence from childhood, since she experienced bullying when she was a little girl. Alina is also an advocate for cancer prevention and lends her support to pediatric oncology patients upon watching her own mother beat the disease. Currently, she hosts a radio show with her mother, “Mundo de Reinas”, and co-hosts a TV show about fashion trends and pageant news. Monika Grigoryan is 21-years-old from Vanadzor, . She is currently a senior student at the Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences majoring in linguistics and foreign languages. Monika works as a communications specialist within public relations at a logistics company and works as a translator for people all across the globe. She also spends time working at a children’s modeling agency and teaches catwalk lessons to improve the confidence in the aspiring talent. Monika has also had the opportunity to star in 24 Armenian and Indian music videos over the years. Volunteering plays an important role in Monika’s life. After her father died, she struggled psychologically and emotionally. She’s created a team of volunteers that help bring light to children struggling with disease and poverty to help them with the issues she faced as a kid. She is hopeful for a future without war and spent the year uniting those affected.

Helen Hernandez is 20-years-old with a great passion for numbers and business. She’s a third-year business administration student who runs her own car rental service. Helen also works as an events coordinator at one of the best known Italian restaurants in Aruba and is dedicating herself to becoming a professional wine sommelier. Helen volunteers her time as an ambassador for CEDE Aruba and Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad, foundations aimed to improve the lives of those in need. Since the start of the pandemic, Helen has focused on improving the mental health of her community. Helen adores animals and believes her dog is the reason she smiles everyday. Helen believes all women must raise their voices and support each other, because one woman has a lot of power, but several women together can make a real impact on the world.

Maria Thattil is a multi-hyphenate who is a founder, speaker, corporate professional, digital creator and fierce activist for inclusivity, equality and empowerment. Before she started training to be an accredited life coach, she graduated with a psychology degree with Honours, and then with a Masters degree in Management with First Class Honours, and was nominated for a scholarship to Harvard University. Maria’s biggest hobby is volunteering and is a member of the United Nations (UN) Association of Australia, works as an ambassador for the SisterWorks charity and volunteers for Mission Australia. As an Australian woman of Indian descent, a daughter of immigrants, and a product of a hybrid culture, Maria believes her upbringing has gifted her with unique experiences and fuels her passion for inclusivity. She is the founder of her own podcast ‘Mind With Me’ which is a curation of conversations and interviews on a myriad of critical and complex topics. Shauntae A Miller is a third generation track and field athlete and is passionate about health and fitness. She recently obtained a M.S.C in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and intends to work toward a doctorates degree in theology. She is the head coach for the youth division of a Non-Profit Athletic, Health and Fitness Club, Bahamas Speed Dynamics. Shauntae is a spokesperson and advocate for “Get Fit Bahamas,” an organization that promotes nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle as a preventative against obesity and non-communicable diseases. Additionally, Shauntae is the national ambassador for Red Cross Society and Bahamas AIDS Foundation. She’s also a member of Prophetic Destiny Ministries International church outreach program that provides for less fortunate and disenfranchised members of her country.

Hillary-Ann Williams is by definition a survivor and a fighter. At just 25 years of age, she is a survivor of gender-based violence who has turned her story of hurt, shame and pain into becoming a very vocal advocate in the fight to end the cycle of abuse for all women.

This courageous young woman has worked with the United Nations Women's Secretariat in and speaks about gender-based violence issues, through her platform as Barbados, at every chance she is given.

Dhenia Covens is a 23-year-old living in Antwerp, the city of diamonds. She is a make-up artist and a manager at the Hollister storefront in her hometown. As an animal lover she adopted a tiger from the World Wide Fund for Nature, but at home her English Bulldog, Luiz, is her best friend. Dhenia is a very active individual who loves to dance. She’s practiced and jazz since she was 5-years-old and is trained in tap dance, burlesque and Latin solo mix. Dhenia also trained in judo, a Japanese martial art, for three years. Her dedication for pageantry led her to coach various delegates and she aspires to become a well-rounded pageant coach to help other women feel confident to take the stage. She wants to use her passion for pageantry to inspire young women to work hard for their dreams and to become strong and independent.

Iris Salguero grew up in Ambergris Caye, the largest island in Belize. As one of twelve siblings, Iris learned the importance of being patient and how to be a team player at a very young age. In high school, she had to finance her own education and was proud to graduate as Salutatorian. Iris plans to obtain her bachelor’s degree in digital marketing and will eventually open a trade school in her community. In the meantime, Iris is working as a brand ambassador and model for local businesses owned by female entrepreneurs. For the last two years, she was part of S.H.I.N.E., an organization dedicated to building healthy self-esteem for teenage girls. As a survivor of an abusive relationship, she is fighting to end violence against women and is a voice for those who suffer in silence. Iris is passionate about the environment and participated in several clean up campaigns to spread awareness on the importance of protecting the natural resources in Belize.

Lenka Nemer is an activist for human rights, social justice and gender equity. As an international affairs graduate, her biggest dream is to be able to advocate against hunger and violence around the world. After struggling with food security as a child, she created "Huertos Urbanos Bolivia," an initiative that provides education about urban cultivation and ways to eradicate hunger. Lenka also advocates for education in equity with a gender perspective. Thanks to various universities and local institutions, such as Teach for Bolivia, Lenka was able to generate a series of workshops and talks to identify violence and educate about gender equity from an ontological, epistemological and legal perspective. She hopes to use her voice to reach all areas of her country to eradicate gender violence. Julia Gama is an actress, entrepreneur and motivational speaker who is passionate about life and diverse cultures. Julia studied chemistry engineering and has a degree in drama arts. Julia began her journey as an international ambassador for Leprosy six years ago and is an activist in India, China, and Brazil and has received several distinctions from international organizations. She lived in China for three years and is the first Brazilian actress to conquer space in the Chinese film industry. For her cultural contribution, she received the “The Most Incredible Award” from Belt and the Road Chinese Government International Initiative in 2017. Julia speaks fluently in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and can communicate in Mandarin and German. With the hardship of the pandemic, Julia decided to leave China and return to Brazil to work with Smile Train. She expects to provide surgeries to all the cleft lip and palate children in Brazil by July of 2021.

Passionate and determined are two of the best words used to describe 24-year-old Shabree Frett. For many years, Shabree struggled with low self-esteem and set out on a self-love journey. After overcoming her personal struggles, Shabree devoted her time to help others find their mission and purpose through events and her social platform, B3 You. Currently, she’s partnered with the Family Support Network and founded her own organization called Lend A Hand BVI where she is able to assist families in need. A graduate of Alabama A&M University, Shabree earned her Bachelor's in Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (Speech Pathology). An entrepreneur and avid writer are only a few hats worn by Shabree. Her biggest goal is to touch as many lives as possible and to make a difference-- not just in the , but the world. Radinela Chusheva is a multifaceted woman from Sofia, . She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of National and World Economy in 2019 and is currently completing her masters in marketing. Radinela is a former rhythmic gymnast and professional dancer. She also has experience acting on a popular Bulgarian TV show and today works as a model. Radinela enjoys spending time with orphaned children and provides them with love and support. She’s deeply passionate about her own family and strives to improve the lives of children who deserve a loving home.

Sarita Reth was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She attended the private French primary school Lycée Français René-Descartes followed by Vanda Institute where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English. Currently, Sarita is pursuing a Masters Degree in International Relations at the Royal University of Law and Economics. At the age of 17, Sarita started competing in beauty pageants and talent competitions which eventually led to her landing a role as TV Presenter for BBC Media Action's TV series, Love9. Sarita’s passion for acting landed her roles in several short films: Happiness (2015), The Dinner (2016), Kidnap (2017), The Interview (2017), as well as several TV dramas. She has also starred in several feature films: Mind Cage (2016), Love To The Power of Four (2016), and HEX (2017). In 2016, Sarita was awarded with the Youth Champion Award by U.N.F.P.A. Cambodia for her advocacy in promoting gender equality, reproductive health rights, and prevention against gender-based violence in Cambodia.

Kossinda Angele is passionate about acting, travelling, scriptwriting, and youth education. She has a masters degree in finance from Pigier Cameroun and provides free math lessons to underprivileged children in her city, Douala. In Kossinda’s spare time, she produces and acts in a TV comedy series available on Youtube. Kossinda is an advocate for the education of the young and disadvantaged girls in Cameroon. In her tribe, girls are subjected to forced marriages as early as 12-years-old. Kossinda believes offering a free education will create a new generation of empowered and confident young girls with better opportunities for a future without arranged marriages. She is amongst the very few women from her region active in her community and serves as inspiration to the girls of Cameroon to become strong, independent women. After her family fled civil war in Sudan, Nova was sent alone to Canada at age 6. Growing up separately from her family, Nova appreciates the importance of fostering healthy development and is continuously looking for opportunities to serve young Canadians. Nova is a co-founder and spokespersons for ‘Freedom March Vancouver’ and ‘Black Freedom Society’ whose mission is to eradicate hate and racism experienced by black and indigenous people of color. Nova has an affinity for acting and modelling and has made appearances on productions in the film industry in Vancouver. She expresses herself through art and movement and has worked internationally in Fashion Week across the globe. Mariah Tibbetts has always enjoyed giving back to her community and volunteers with various local charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Alex Panton Foundation, Cayman Islands Department of Children and Family Services, Lean on Me Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Red Cross and much more. She also works alongside the Cayman Islands Cancer Society as an ambassador to initiate positive change and support those affected by cancer, after watching numerous family members, including her older sister, battle the disease. She is passionate about health and fitness, after discovering a love for working out which helped her get through her own mental and physical health struggles. Mariah has excelled in her education throughout her life, she finished university with 4 degrees and went on to become a Certified Professional Accountant. Mariah is an advocate for female empowerment as well as a proud member of 100 Women in Finance and NextGen Cayman. Mariah hopes to inspire others to never let obstacles stop them - the very thing that was meant to break you may lead you to discover your purpose in life, just like it did for her.

Daniela Nicolas is an actress, professional makeup artist and a journalism and sign-language student. She’s worked on various national television channels like, Channel 13, TVN and Chilevision and international broadcasters like ESPN and FOX Sports. In 2019, Daniela traveled to Boston to study English and is currently finishing her training in business and retail. In 2015, her life changed when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called undifferentiated connective tissue disease. After struggling to come to terms with her disease, she gained the strength that she currently uses to support other people, especially children who are diagnosed. Daniela raises awareness for this condition by working as a volunteer in Anacroj. Social work is her passion and her biggest purpose is to use her powerful presence through social media to contribute in a positive and conscious manner by influencing society to become more understanding and inclusive.

Jiaxin Sun is passionate about communication and leadership development. After receiving a bachelor's degree in management, she pushed herself to conquer her fear of speaking in front of crowds and became the president of a public speaking club under a non-profit organization. Jiaxin, who was once an extreme introvert, now works as a mentor in a youth leadership academy and is an inspiration to many children as she pushes them to become confident leaders. Jiaxin become inspired to make a difference in the world when she traveled to an impoverished village in southern China and saw the women in the village of Lijin struggling to make ends meet. She knew she could use her experience to help and established the “Mother-Made Club” to help the women living in Mountain Wuzhishan sell handmade products to make money to support themselves and their families.

Laura Olascuaga is a journalist who received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University del Norte in Barranquilla. She’s a freelance model and works in the communications department of the government in her state of Bolivar to aid in the development of vulnerable communities. She supports the Colombian ministry of defense, specifically the Army and military, to raise awareness for the needs of indigenous communities like “Kogui.” After living in a war-torn area, facing poverty in her country and living through the COVID-19 pandemic, Laura realized the importance of gaining knowledge and believes it's a solution to many of the world’s conflicts. She dedicates most of her time to speaking about depression due to being a victim of cyberbullying and plans to widen her impact and inspire the youth.

Ivonne Cerdas is a Software Engineer who graduated from the UTN in and works as a Solution Analyst at Intel Corporation. She is the youngest of 5 siblings. Her mother worked a full-time job until the evening to support them and woke up regularly at 4 in the morning to be able to cook and prepare them for school. She taught her the true value of hard work. She has worked for years with different NGOs like the LPH foundation, which provides aid to low-income cleft palate suffering children, and the Pic Nic foundation, which has various initiatives, ranging from city cleaning to pandemic aid for families in need. As an avid martial arts practitioner, Ivonne is set on inspiring young women to be strong, independent & confident, and know they can achieve anything they want through hard work, dedication, perseverance, and patience. Mirna Naiia Marić was born in the ancient coastal city of Zadar where she graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design. When Mirna was 16, she was offered a modeling contract with a major agency in Milano. Thanks to her Guardian Angel, her sister, she was able to spend 4 years modeling in Milano and traveling around Europe for various fashion shoots. As an aspiring entrepreneur, Mirna plans to study business and economics to help aid in the developmen to of her own swimsuit and clothing company. This year, Mirna started her own fashion label – Naiia – and hopes to develop it into a major brand of clothes for the youth. Mirna is an advocates for reducing physical and mental violence against women and uses to her platform to raise her voice for those who are silenced.

Chantal Wiertz is an international model who is currently studying food and beverage management. Chantal is a true animal lover and is passionate about her six horses that she owns on her ranch. She works with her mother and sister to give dressage training lessons to teach others everything they need to know about horses. Chantal also gives equine therapy to kids with special needs, using the horses to not only boost their self-confidence but also teach them how to cope with stressful situations. Chantal started the #celebrateyouruniqueness social media campaign after being diagnosed with autism to help empower those with special needs and show them that everything is possible with determination and hard work. Chantal no longer feels insecure about having autism and celebrates her individuality everyday with hopes that others will too. Klára Vavrušková is studying dental hygiene and loves making others feel confident by helping them achieve a beautiful smile. She enjoys collaborating with various children’s homes in the and spends time giving the youth opportunities to have better lives. Klára is also passionate about improving the lives of seniors and the older generation by helping them visit their families. She was inspired by her two 92-year-old great grandmothers and wanted to ensure other elders were able to enjoy time with their loved ones too. Klára loves spending time submerged in nature and is dedicated to protecting the planet. With the help of her family, Klára is able to plant new trees in the Czech forests and hopes to spread this mission to younger generations.

Amanda Petri is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree thesis in international business communication with plans to pursue a master’s degree in business communication. From a very young age, Amanda was passionate about gender equality and studied within the field of feminism in her free time. She’s been advocating for gender equality for many years and is currently working on a project to bring attention to gender related online abuse after being a victim to cyber bullying. Amanda started dancing before she could walk and has danced for 20 years. She has won several impressive dance titles and is now working as a dance teacher. Kimberly Jiménez was born in Puerto Rico, but was raised in the Dominican Republic and is the daughter of a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. She is working toward a double BA in forensic sciences and business administration, while also working as a model and stage actress. As Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2020, she is one of the five Afro-Latin delegates who have had the honor of being crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic. Kimberly actively supports an orphanage in her hometown, La Romana, and helps children who’ve faced abuse and homelessness. She’s also a founding member of the Dominican Republic Women’s Club, an institution dedicated to providing services to women with breast cancer. Raised in an all-women household led Kimberly to become passionate about sisterhood and strives for unity among all women.

Leyla Espinoza is an international business student at De Las Américas University and works as a professional model and accounting assistant. Leyla is passionate about defending the rights of abused women after witnessing mistreatment in the neighborhood she grew up in as a child. Through her platform, she creates entrepreneurial projects so the women who’ve suffered can receive support and psychological help in a safe community. Her goal is to encourage these women to start their own businesses so they can take control of their own lives. Leyla also works on various social projects and donates wheelchairs, beds and other necessities for people with disabilities in conjunction with the Richard Foundation. She is also dedicated to working with the Fuvida Foundation to help children with diabetes. Vanessa Velásquez is a San Salvador native who works professionally in the world of fashion as a model, brand ambassador and social influencer who uses her platform to promote social change. She earned an International bilingual baccalaureate degree from the Academia Britanica Cuscatleca and has a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing from the Monica Herrera School of Communication. From a young age, Vanessa participated in and enjoyed volunteer and social work. She credits her empathy to her parents after volunteering with them in small towns in her country and playing with other children from different backgrounds. This experience compelled her to start her own charitable foundation, Angel Hands by Vane, to provide aid to children in hospitals, provide food to low-income communities and support people who’ve suffered after natural disasters. Vanessa’s hobbies include traveling, learning about other cultures, exercising and living a healthy and fulfilled life.

Viivi Altonen is a 24-year-old scuba-diving teacher and model from Tampere, Finland. She’s currently studying social psychology and anthropology due to her curiousity about the human mind and social behaviors. Viivi has traveled to over 30 countries and lived in four – Mozambique, India, Switzerland and Finland. Thanks to these travels, she now speaks English fluently - in addition to her mother tongue, Finnish, and also speaks basic Swedish and German. Through these experiences, she became increasingly aware of the vast inequalities between genders all around the world, even in her home country Finland – considered one of the most equal countries worldwide. This motivated her to volunteer for UN Women and launch her #SheCan campaign, to keep the discussion about equal rights ongoing and to empower young women to work towards their dreams – no matter what they are, where they come from or what they have experienced. Her message is that everything is possible if you believe in yourself – and she lives this message herself. Amandine Petit is a 23-year-old-native of Caen, in Normandy France. She's studying for her master’s degree in social, sanitary, and gerontological management. Amandine loves helping people and considers herself positive and dynamic. She speaks on the radio weekly to advocate for various causes and to spread positivity, she donates her earnings to the Association Les Bonnes Fées for underprivileged women. Amandine also visits the Pasteur Institute and supports medical research for various conditions, including Alzheimer's disease. Social inclusion is also important to Amandine and she visits residents in retirement homes to combat loneliness among the elderly community. Amandine enjoys interior decorating and cooking.

Chelsea Tayui graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Communications and Media. She works part time as the Communications Director for The KJM Foundation- a non-profit organization that seeks to create a world where every individual has access to basic human needs. She started as a volunteer with KJM to bring clean water to impoverished villages in her country. Chelsea cares passionately about autism. She is working on eliminating the stigma of Autism in Ghana and she is a strong proponent for Early Intervention. She is raising awareness and advocacy for policy change in the Ghana education system, such that these children can be accommodated in the school systems.

Jeanette Akua is passionate about music and education and has a master’s degree in international economic policy and analysis. She works as a business development manager at a leading economic consultancy and speaks at global conferences, addressing CEOs and world leaders. She’s also a former X Factor UK top 10 finalist and has written and released her own music with over a million streams. Jeanette is the founder of the Be Audacious campaign, which aims to empower women to have the audacity to pursue their dreams and to have the nerve to walk through doors they are told are not meant for them. She hosts online series that celebrates and shares the diverse stories of women from all over the world: from doctors, architects and business owners to single mothers, sexual assault survivors and women living with chronic illness. Her mission is to build an army of audacious women who are unapologetic about who they are! Eden Berandoive is passionate about dance and modeling and is a strong and determined woman who, despite the difficulties of her past, fights to make her dreams come true. She’s currently studying psychology, English and entrepreneurship and works as the lead marketing personnel at JL Fine Shoes in Port-au-Prince. Eden believes everyone should have access to education, no matter their level of income, and volunteers for Foundation Laurince Compas to help children from the countryside have access to learn, along with the organization, Madan d’Haiti, to help adults learn to read. Eden is a survivor of sexual assault and abuse. She is a voice to other victims of rape and abuse and hopes to give others the courage to break free from their solitude and grow into strong, confident individuals. Cecilia Rossell has had a passion for social and community services from an early age. She’s currently studying social communication and advertising and works with CES, an organization of Yale students working to educate people living in underdeveloped communities about health and nutrition. Cecilia helps coordinate necessities that these people need to have a successful and healthy life. In honor of her mother, who passed away from cancer, Cecilia dedicates time to visit cancer patients and encourages them to remain positive, like what she did with her own mother when she was in the hospital. Her dedication to helping others stems from the time she spent as a child with her mother volunteering and visiting people in need.

Elísabet Hulda is 22-years-old pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chinese studies at the University of Iceland. Her fascination with travel and culture has led her to visit 20 countries and finance her own trips to Japan, South Korea and China. Elísabet attended language school in Japan and speaks conversational Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin) and Korean. Her community service involvement in Iceland revolves around the Icelandic Red Cross and “Tölum Saman,” a program that teaches immigrants the Icelandic language so they can successfully enter the job markets and educational systems. Elísabet also works with “Bumbuloni,” a charity that provides financial support to families with chronically ill children. Becoming an actress or journalist are Elísabet’s long-term goals because she’d be able to combine her passions for international travel and communication. She hopes to use her platform to educate others on different cultures, championing the thought that we all have so much to learn from each other as global citizens.

Adline works as a Goodwill Ambassador for Smile Train, is the face for the PCOS Free India Campaign, and collaborates with SNEHA, an organization that provides affordable healthcare to women. Her grandmother died giving birth to her mother at the young age of 22, because she could not afford healthcare. Since 2017, Senyum Desa has expanded to 20 cities and 8 provinces in Indonesia and has 20 regional coordinators. Nadia is a 26-year-old mental health early intervention worker who graduated from Queens University Belfast, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She’s currently working in suicide prevention and now has a master’s degree in psychology and mental health therapies and works within a mental health charity that develops inspiring comic books based on the true stories of young survivors. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Befriender, FGM Awareness and ASIST trained. Nadia’s passion for mental health stems from her own personal mental health struggles as a young girl. She wants to strip away the stigma and reinforce the importance of everyone’s voice and make mental health check-ups as common as dental. To bring joy to her community, Nadia discovered new-found acting skills and took on the elf role of ‘Snowdrop’ to spread Christmas magic in her local town and spent time as a Disney princess (Anna) visiting hospitals, birthdays and community celebrations. Tehila Levi is 19-years-old and recently graduated from high school and has begun her military service at the Home Front Command's Information Division of the IDF. She is volunteering in a kindergarten for children with special needs, which is the same kindergarten that her little brother attended. Tehila and her brother are very close and she encourages children like him to fit into society and fulfill their potential. Tehlia also supports the Israeli Society for Children and Adults with Autism "Alut" and her dream is to study speech therapy. In her spare time she likes to hike, go to the beach and practice pilates.

Viviana Vizzini was born in a small town in Sicily and studies communications sciences and marketing. She’s applied her skills in digital marketing to various companies and enjoys raising brand awareness. Viviana uses her knowledge to leverage herself as Miss Universe Italy and is committed to seeking ways to improve the lives of women around the world. She works as an ambassador for the Italian Red Cross and provided support to Casa Penelope, a place of refuge for women who need safe housing. She also works with Smile Train, an organization that highlights her belief that one smile can change the world. Viviana is proud of her Sicilian heritage and believes life is about the journey and that with each day, she can find something new to learn or appreciate about humanity.

Miqueal-Symone Williams was born and raised in St. Andrew, and pursued her bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of the . At the age of 21, she began her career as an international model, traveling to the UK, , Spain and New York, working with some of the most renowned brand names in the industry such as Valentino, Loreal and Armani. She recently created "The Bloom Initiative,” an project that provides internet access to Jamaican children who cannot attend their online school classes because of lack of internet availability. Miqueal-Symone has a passion for supporting and inspiring children and teenagers. She believes that at this impressionable age, their mental health is important and they should be made to feel loved. She has aspirations to open a foundation for mental health in honor of her late mother.

Aisha Tochigi is Japanese and Ghanaian. She lived in Ghana for seven years, but spent most of her life living in Japan. Being a mixed minority in Japanese society was not easy for her growing up due to discrimination. Aisha was also subjected to extreme poverty as a child and contracted malaria while living in Africa. These challenges made Aisha grow stronger and she was able to gain a wide perspective on other cultures. She’s now an activist for malaria eradication and works for campaigns that support women’s rights and orphanages. Aisha is also using her platform as an Asian-Black woman to spread awareness about discrimination. She stands for equality in race and gender and is working with social activists, along with hosting events where people discuss racism and biracial identity. Aisha’s ambition is to make a change in the world where people won’t be judged for who they are.

Kamila Serikbai is studying to become a lawyer at Suleiman Demirel University. In the future, she hopes to use her profession to help low-income families and protect the rights of honest people in her country. Throughout the pandemic, she’s dedicated her time volunteering at local hospitals by helping doctors and patients struggling with COVID-19. Kamila is an athlete and loves to train in her freetime. In 2017 and 2018, she played football (soccer) at the Cup and won second place both times. In addition to football, she also likes to practice karate and has placed at various competitions. Kamila enjoys teaching other women to defend themselves with what she’s learned during her karate training and believes it’s important they know how to protect themselves and each other. Hari Park is studying modeling at Dongduk Women’s University in the College of Performing Arts, which is the first four- year university to offer a modeling major. In addition to modeling, Hari uses her voice to educate young children and teach them English. She enjoys giving others a hands-on experience and values the time she spent in other countries learning the language herself. Hari lived in Australia for ten years and graduated high school there as an international student leader. She also volunteers at animal shelters and children’s homes and uses the funds she makes as a model to donate to these worthy causes. As a fan of K-Pop, she spent time volunteering at concerts as a translator and assisted in various event planning. Hari believes that not all women in the world need to pursue a career in beauty to shine and that everyone is powerful and brave in their own way. Blerta Veseli is a final year architecture student and is passionate about reading and meditating. She has been part of two NGO projects for the improvement of life in Kosovo: Science For Change and KMUNA. Blerta created a TV platform for public speaking to motivate the young generation to achieve their goals in life. She is a motivational speaker on her platform and offers life support to people in need. Her most recent endeavor is acting on an Albanian TV show, Cka Ka Shpija. Blerta is creating her own hair care brand and hopes to launch soon. Blerta believes helping those in need hands-on is the most beneficial way to promote change and that teaching others skills that they can use for the rest of their life is worth more than any donation.

Christina Lasasimma is a masters student studying software engineering at Dhurakij Pundit University in Thailand. She spent her time as an undergrad studying information and communication technology and computer science while working in the entertainment industry as an international model and influencer. She’s also the CEO of her own healthy drink brand, MOii Collagen, with plans to create a skincare line. Christina is passionate about education and advocates for women and children to know their self-worth through various learning programs. Christina is also passionate about providing HIV patients with proper care and support to keep themselves and their children healthy.

Francisca Luhong James is a 25-year-old Kayan-Kenyah-Iban native from Kuching, Sarawak. She holds a first class honors degree in mass communications and majored in public relations and represented her school in long jump. Francisca is a part-time model and former public relations and marketing executive. She’s been involved in many charities over the years and volunteered for the Paint The World charity concert to raise money for children with special needs. Francisca also worked with the Global Peace Foundation to gather food for indigenous people of . As Miss Universe Malaysia, she’s started the foundation Beyond Aid to raise money for refugees and underprivileged children. Her advocacy is focused on women’s empowerment and wants to continue to empower young girls to work together to create a positive change in society and create more female youth leaders.

Anthea Zammit is passionate about dance and the arts and graduated with a bachelors of dance studies degree with honours from the University of Malta. She also has a masters degree in dance teaching and instructs at a number of schools around the country. Currently, Anthea is studying for another degree in law. Anthea works closely with the FIDEM Charity Foundation, an NGO that funds educational courses and learning materials for vulnerable women, abused adolescent girls and children. After losing her grandfather to lung cancer, Anthea, alongside a team of professionals, worked on an eight week program by providing aid to cancer patients undergoing chemo therapy at the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Hospital. By participated in these sensory workshops, she was able to help them express themselves further through dance and the arts. Anthea represented Malta several times internationally in sports and on international stages such as the Young Dancers and other beauty pageants.

Vandana is passionate about law; she recently earned her Masters Degree and is currently working as an in-house barrister. She is actively involved in the community with the Lions Club. She is a certified make-up artist and model, who is also passionate about being active.She practices crossfit and extreme sports, such as rappel and sand boarding. Her concern for the wellbeing of the world and animals led her to become a vegan. Andrea is also the official Tourism Brand Ambassador for Chihuahua, promoting the best touristic attractions and rich culture her beautiful home offers.

Thuzar Wint Lwin is an English student at the University of East Yangon and also a has a diploma in tourism and hospitality management from Star University in Myanmar. Outside of school, Thuzar works as a professional model and beauty blogger. She enjoys helping other women with style because it helps build confidence. Thuzar recently underwent lumpectomy surgery to to remove tumors from her breast. As a survivor, she works with local breast cancer awareness foundations to support patients and bring awareness to the cause. Thuzar believes that no matter how much struggle you face in life, perseverance and hope are the keys to overcome any obstacles.

Anshika Sharma is a woman in technology, holding a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Central Queensland University, Australia. She works as a Business Analyst at DHL where she has been awarded Employee of the Year. Anshika advocates for the importance of children receiving a quality education. Just like how her life has opened up to countless possibilities after being opened to the world of knowledge, she believes quality education can do the same for others. Anshika opened her own foundation that currently supports 24 students who were on the verge of dropping out. She plans on providing these children with all the required support needed for a quality education until they graduate. Anshika believes education empowers them to find their self-worth and will lead them to live a successful life. Denise Speelman studied marketing and communication and created her own fashion styling company. After recovering from an eating disorder five years ago, she found herself again, and wanted to help prevent others from going through what she went through. She empowers others by encouraging them to wear what makes them feel confident, no matter their size and appearance. Denise fights the "perfect image" of social media by spreading her message as a volunteer at the Rintveld clinic, one of the biggest eating disorder clinics in the Netherlands. Along with advocating for body positivity, she also works for Hulphond Nederland, an organization that trains dogs to assist people with several physical and mental problems, like PTSD and epilepsy.

Ana Marcelo is an agroindustrial engineer who considers herself a proactive, disciplined and supportive person. These qualities have led her to work in various social projects like, “Dar Para Salvar”, a social campaign she created to help medical staff create biosecurity kits. Ana also works with “Navidad Nos Une” and “Todos Juntos” to support Nicaraguan youth living in vulnerable rural areas. Her most recent endeavor, "The Power of Being a Woman," is a leadership program that brings together women in the Latin American pageant and beauty world to promote inclusive agendas, female leadership and gender equality. Ana enjoys being a tourist in her own country and roadtrips to various mountains, volcanoes and beaches to learn about various cultures in Nicaragua and looks forward to learning about other country’s cultures in the future.

Sunniva Frigstad is a 20-year-old marketing and management student interested in understanding the connection between human behaviour and the market. She is in close collaboration with Enough Norway (Nok Agder), an organization that works with prevention and adapted help for victims who have been sexually abused. After Sunniva's best friend opened up to her about her history of abuse, Sunniva's commitment to helping victims grew stronger. She is passionate about increasing knowledge on how to support victims and collaborates with others to share stories to show the world how to contribute to minimizing sexual abuse. Sunniva also spreads hope and courage to those who struggle with mental challenges, since she went from being dyslexic, to graduating school with top grades. She wants to show that as long as you work towards a goal, you will eventually reach it. Carmen Isabel Jaramillo Velarde was born and raised in La Chorrera, Panama. She divides her time to study two careers, journalism at the Universidad of Panama, and psychology at the Latin University of Panama while working as a model. Taking on the Miss Panama crown in the midst of the pandemic gave Carmen the opportunity to reinvent the social projection strategy in her country. She founded the Connect Your Power movement to establish financial aid and to deliver necessities to low-income communities. Carmen collaborates with many social causes such as: PROBIDISIDA, AID FOR AIDS Panama, Club Activo 20-30, Teleton 20-30, the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Republic of Panama, HIV prevention and Smile Train. She is also an ally for the indigenous community and partners with the SOS Abinos foundation to provide cancer screenings for people from the Kuna Yala Shire suffering from albinism. Carmen is deeply committed to her journalistic work and devotes herself to investigating the social problems of her country and the universe.

Vanessa Castro Guillén is 28-years-old from Caacupé, Paraguay and works in architecture, designing homes and buildings. She is a graduate from Universidad Nacional De Asuncion where she dedicated herself to rehabilitation work for children with different disabilities during her time as a student. Her greatest accomplishment is her commitment to architecture studies because in her country, architecture is essential for urban development. Vanessa is passionate about other cultures and loves to incorporate her outside influences into her designs. In the future, she hopes to influence more women to take on careers in male dominated fields and demand the recognition they deserve. She advocates for the empowerment of young girls and encourages them to take up space where men typically dominate.

Janick Maceta is 26-years-old and works as an audio engineer in one of New York’s iconic studios, The Manhattan Center. For the past three years, Janick has contributed to many music, film and television productions including: the New York Philharmonic for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga’s Duet Album, and recorded with Akon, Jennifer Lopez and The Temptations. As a young entrepreneur, she co-founded a movement called Top of New York Music (T.O.N.Y) and is registered as a record label that aims to promote young musicians by producing their music. In New York, she is certified to work with kids at the Head Start Association and New York Foundling that helps people with disabilities. Janick is also an advocate for sexually abused children and returned to Peru to set up an organization called Little Heroes that provides legal and psychological help to children and families who are victims of sexual violence.

Rabiya is a Cum Laude graduate of physical therapy and began teaching at the age of 21. She is the current ambassador for education of the Philippines and works with the Department of Education on projects like National Reading Month and AHA Learning Center. Because of her passion for education, she started her own project called ‘Feed Me and I Read You,’ a program that helps underprivileged children living near the dumpsite of Iloilo city by conducting feeding programs and reading sessions. These students are suffering from severe malnutrition that affects their learning capabilities and Rabiya works to improve their lives with the potential of a brighter future. She is also the youngest and only woman in the ethical committee of her country working on protocols to provide the nutritional needs of Filipino children and advocates for breastfeeding. Additionally, she works as a volunteer to the Philippine Red Cross and travels to areas affected by calamities, such as typhoons and earthquakes to provide relief.

Currently, she runs her own company in transportation and courier services and has experience working on one of the largest railways in Europe. Due to working in a male-dominated profession for years, Natalia has faced many stereotypes and adversity. Throughout her time at university and at work, she constantly had to prove her worth and work twice as hard. At Christmas time, she dedicates herself to organizing materials for children with cancer and creates events where to bring joy and distract from any pain for a short time. Natalia is proud of her strength and believes women are builders and can create a life by achieving their goals to make their dreams come true, just like she did. Cristiana Silva is 19-years-old with a great taste for knowledge of the law, human rights and justice. She is working towards a degree in law with hopes to one day practice as a solicitor and handle legal matters for her community in Paços de Ferreira. Due to the pandemic, she began focusing on using her social media platform to draw attention to problems that exist in society by being an advocate against domestic violence and bullying. After being a victim of bullying herself as a teenager, Cristina began educating others on how to identify and stop it. She also stands in solidarity with organizations like Best Buddies and Smile Train. Cristiana is also an advocate for women's rights and is dedicated to helping victims of domestic abuse. She serves as a voice to remind people that abuse comes in many forms aside from physical.

Estefanía Natalia Soto Torres has a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and a masters degree in intercultural mediation. She studied in France, Belgium and Mexico, where she completed her master's with a sociological, anthropological and gender perspective. She’s used her education to work for various international organizations like, Eurocities in Brussels, the French Embassy in Washington D.C. and at the European Patent Organization in La Haya. Estefania is the host of the podcast “Voces de Reinas” (Queen Voices), a weekly show created to share knowledge with change-makers from the entertainment, healthcare and academic industry. Recently, Estefania was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease, a disorder of the inner ear leading to strong vertigo episodes and hearing loss. Her doctors noted emotional triggers to the vertigo episodes and recommended paying attention to her mental health. Accepting the link between mental health and physical health was challenging for her, however, she now believes that we are mind, body, and spirit.

Bianca Lorena Tirsin is a 22-year-old business administration student at Aurel Vlaicu University in Arad. She considers herself a jack-of-all-trades and manages her own online shop that promotes confidence with the use of oral health care products. Bianca is an ambassador for Cetatea Voluntarilor Arad and has won the annual award of “Volunteer of the Year” since 2017. Her main focus within this organization is rehabilitating hospitals, organizing various events for children with Down syndrome and fundraising for impoverished areas of her community. By the age of 21, Bianca was able to travel to almost 40 countries and submersed herself in various cultures and traditions. Because of these experiences she learned to be independent and open-minded and considers herself a citizen of the world. Alina Sanko is 22-years-old from a small southern town called Azov. Due to her commitment and positivity, she made her path to the capital city of Moscow. She graduated from State University of Land Administration with distinction with a degree in architecture and design. Now, Alina is getting her masters at Moscow State University in the Higher School of Television. Alina is passionate about art, is a talented painter and is currently preparing for her own art exhibit. She is an active supporter of charitable initiatives and volunteers for various foundations that support children with serious diseases. Alina uses her talent in the arts to provide art therapy and craft classes for children, along with reading books with them. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Boston City Campus in 2020 and worked as a public relations officer for a law firm. In 2016, Natasha started her own business, Natalie Jefferys, a fashion company specializing in couture. She runs Natalie Jefferys with the help of her mother and an all-female staff. Natasha is deeply inspired by her family and credits her late father for her ambition to succeed. As a social activist, she is a Play Your Part Ambassador for Brand South Africa. This organiztion encourages all South African’s to contribute to a better future for all. This year, she says she is championing South Africa’s young democracy, which is facing challenging times: “I pledge to play my part to contribute to a positive future and champion leadership and entrepreneurship.”

Andrea Martínez is a lover (and huge aficionada) of sports, traveling, meeting new people and working hard. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and spent her four years of university studying in León, Madrid and Paris. Andrea worked at the Armani headquarters in Milan as a sales administrator and recently started her own e- commerce store to cover added expenses due to the pandemic. After her family was affected by breast cancer, Andrea began working with the León Association of Women With Breast Cancer to raise funds for those battling the disease and even donated 26 centimeters of her own hair for the creation of wigs. She’s currently focused on her new campaign, #RaiseYourVoice, to educate communities about bullying and sexual harrassment through conferences, the support of psychologists and an app she’s developing with her brother. Andrea believes that knowledge is power and that it brings us closer to becoming a more tolerant and just world.

Amanda Obdam was raised an island girl in her hometown Phuket, south of Thailand. She graduated with honors from the University of Toronto with a degree in business administration. Amanda is the co-founder of Batika Studio, a product line honoring traditional batik art through sustainable everyday clothing and tote bags. Amanda started volunteer work at a very young age after her hometown was hit by the 2004 Tsunami which caused devastation and tremendous loss on the island. She worked with Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation teaching English to children affected by the Tsunami. Amanda sees that there is a lack of understanding for the illnesses in her country and is an advocate for mental health. She started her "Have You Listened" campaign to promote listening with the intention to understand in the community. She believes that we can provide help by truly listening to one another.

Yelyzaveta Yastremska is 28-years-old from Kyiv, . She has a a bachelor's degree in marketing and human resources and studies philosophy and meditation at an academy in India. Yelizaveta is a multifaceted person who’s worked as a make-up artist, model, TV presenter and fashion designer. She’s the founder of a fashion brand called Elza and creates women's clothing, evening gowns and swimwear that makes her customers feel confident and empowered. Yelizaveta uses her title to support children from orphanages and helps them develop into their potential. She organizes educational events for kids to teach them about health, meditation and skills that will help them succeed in the future. She believes that these lessons will help motivate children and expand their worldview. She also works closely with charitable foundations that help raise money for underprivileged children.

Tania Lola De Los Santos is a woman who does not give up. She is 23-years-old from Paysandú and studies human resources while working as a community manager in her hometown. Lola is deeply passionate about the environment and raises awareness about ways to live sustainably and promotes volunteer events to help clean the oceans. Lola is a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and works to create equality and job opportunities. Like many young people, Lola was bullied as a child and suffered from online harassment. She now volunteers for organizations that prevent bullying and encourages children and young adults to care for each other. Having never ventured solo out of her home state, at the age of 17, Asya Branch attended Harvard University for summer school. This experience transformed her life as it forced her out of her comfort zone and allowed her to see her limitless potential. Since that experience, she’s earned two state level titles and become the first representative of her state to win Miss USA. She’s used these titles to promote her passion for criminal justice reform, which has led to the passing of legislation at the city, state, and federal levels. Asya also works with Best Buddies to ensure everyone, regardless of their disabilties has a friend, and also partners with Smile Train to help provide cleft surgeries. Asya is pursuing a degree in integrated marketing communication and is an aspiring public relations and sports entertainment professional. Fluent in Spanish and English, she lived abroad for a year in New York City where she got to study with people from all over the world. After being a victim of a misinformed surgical operation, she has been a firm supporter of the Love Yourself movement, giving conferences to young women on body positivity, entrepreneurship and leadership. She is an advocate on HIV/AIDS prevention working closely with the NGO “Acción Solidaria” (Action for Solidarity) in rural neighborhoods around Venezuela to promote free testing. A devout flamenco and Cuban salsa dancer, her hobbies also include baking sweet treats to surprise her friends on special occasions. Khanh Van Nguyen Tran is currently the ambassador of One Body Village - an organization that supports, rescues and helps girls who are exploited, sexually abused or in danger. Khanh Van was almost a victim of sexual abuse and wants to use her voice to fight and protect children and women who are potential victims. She has also participated in several rescuing tours across Vietnam and attended trials and seminars with students to improve their knowledge of self-protection. She’s also learning physical self-defence and helps parents understand how to protect and take care of their children.
