THE CONGLETON , , and SOCIAL CLUB. PRELIMINARY

1. The name of the Club shall be THE CONGLETON CRICKET, HOCKEY, BOWLING and SOCIAL CLUB.

2. The premises of the Club shall be at Booth Street Congleton

3. The objects of the Club shall be to provide facilities for and to promote the of Cricket,Hockey and Bowls together with other such sports and activities as may from time to time be determined in General Meeting.

4. The Club shall be a members' club and shall consist of ordinary members together with such honorary members and classes of members as are hereinafter mentioned.

5. In these Rules except where the context otherwise requires words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa; and words denoting any other gender include all genders.

MEMBERSHIP.

6 6.(1) Every candidate for ordinary membership must be proposed by one senior member of the Club and the proposal must be seconded by another senior member and both vouching for the candidate's fitness for membership. The name and address of every candidate proposed for membership, together with the the names of his proposer and seconder, shall for a period of at least two clear days before such candidate is elected, be posted in the Club in the manner so prescribed in Rule 23.
