THEME OF CONFERENCE : India has a long history of using herbs in the treatment of various diseases through traditional medicinal systems. The phytoconstituents from various plant sources have shown various pharmacological activities such as anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, antiviral etc. Isolation of phytomolecules from the whole plants that actually involved in curing various diseases is an important area of research. Further these constituents are believed to be devoid of side effects. On the contrary allopathic medicines suffer from a drawback of inducing various side effects. However, most of the isolated phytoconstituents suffer from a drawback of aqueous solubility and in turn bioavailability restricting their medicinal value. The conference aims to focus in the delivery of phytomolecules so as to explore their medicinal value. Further In continuation to Ist symposium on Ethnopharmacology-Validation of Traditional medicine 2015, by SFE Pune chapter, this conference will also focus on the validation of Traditional medicine as a vital part of the conference.
