• To that end, NCC offers articulation agreements with:

• Franklin Pierce University • • Southern University

• Must have an Active LPN License (Does Not Need to be from NH)

• Applicants must show documentation of completion of Human Growth and Development and A&P II with a C+ or higher prior to entering the program in the Spring Semester

• Must complete the NACE exam with a 74% or higher. • Intro to Psychology and Human Growth and Development must be no more than five years old from the start of the first nursing course with a minimum grade of C+

• Nursing credits must be no more than five years old from the start of the first nursing course with a minimum grade of B-.

• Applicants must submit a letter of reference on a school letterhead from the director of the Nursing program at the previous school.

• Must complete the NACE exam. • ASN applications must be completed by March 1, 2021 to be considered for acceptance in the Fall 2021 class. • Licensed practical nurses may have the opportunity to transfer into the ASN program with advanced standing in the spring semester of the first year on a space-available basis. Seating is limited. Register early! • Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) with an adjusted individual score in the following categories: • Reading – 74.50% or better, Math – 68.80% or better, Science 55.3% or better and English 66.7% or better. • The TEAS must be taken within two years prior to the start of the first nursing course. • See www.atitesting.com for more information about preparing for the test and to register for the TEAS. • While doing labs, what is the pace like? Is it quick, moderate or does it depend on the student’s way of learning? • If a student is struggling what kind of assistance do instructors offer? Is there an open-door policy? When personal struggles overwhelm students, what do instructors do to ensure their success and in what ways are they supportive? • Are there designated times for students to come in for additional help? If not, is there a way of creating that option? • When will we experience clinicals and what are they like? • If I don’t have all of my pre-requisites completed, what do you suggest we do as an alternative to begin our pathway to Nursing? • How long are lectures and how long are clinicals? • Is there a certain area of Nursing that we will be working on each term and what are they? • What grades are required in the nursing program? • Are there any accommodations for selection of clinical sites if far from home? • Why NCC (vs. Manchester, NHTI, St.Anselm)? Mackenzie is a 2017 graduate of Nashua Community College. Mackenzie graduated from Nashua Community Mackenzie Murphy College with an Associates Degree in Education, and Enrollment Specialist graduated from Granite State College with a B.S. in (603) 931-9896 Business Management and Psychology. She is currently [email protected] studying for her Master’s Degree at Southern NH University in Higher Education Administration and is thrilled to be working at Nashua Community College!

Lisa Gray has been a registered nurse for 35 years. She has Lisa Gray worked in various areas of the hospital as a nurse in Nursing Professor community education, management, medical-surgical, OR and (603)578-8900 x1549 PACU and as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Lisa has taught as a [email protected] clinical adjunct at UNH and NCC and currently been a full-time faculty at the NCC Nursing Department for 9 years. Jeanne is the Director of the Nursing Program at NCC. She has Jeanne Hayes, devoted 38 years in Nursing Education. She has a Doctorate in EdD, MS, RN, CNE Education from Umass Amherst, earned her Master’s Degree Director of Nursing from Boston College and earned her Bachelor’s degree from [email protected] Worcester State University from the Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing.

Originally grew up in the eastside of Washington State, Tyler has spent the last 12 years traveling east in pursuit of further medical and nursing education study. He Graduated from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a Master’s in Nursing, Tyler Waite RN, CNP specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. He finds purpose in Freshman Lead Associate impacting the potential growth and development of an Nursing Professor individual, whether it be a child in the clinic or a student in his [email protected] classroom. He spends his days either giving children stickers for their bravery in the healthcare settings, helping nursing students connect the complex dots, or personally creating something beautiful to read, listen to, or look at.
