UFO WAVES: an INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos FOTOCAT Project [email protected]
UFO WAVES: AN INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos FOTOCAT Project [email protected] Introduction In the study of UFO phenomena there are several topics that emerge as key issues for the understanding and potential resolution of this worldwide enigma. The subject of UFO waves and UFO flaps is, evidently, one of these. Compiling bibliographies of research items has been a recurrent interest in my investigative life (1-7), as I have always thought that, as in mainstream science disciplines, progress is linked to the knowledge of prior work in the field. Those who ignore what their senior colleagues have produced on a given matter waste time duplicating past efforts or are unable to build upon previous finds. Over the years, the field of ufology has produced many authoritative bibliographies. With a few exceptions, these are general lists of literature, sometimes annotated, but usually not organized by topic (8-28). Nevertheless, these assist the researcher and represent an academic advancement. As I am committed to the concept of achieving a synthesis of knowledge in some of the main areas of the study of UFOs (29), I think a more pragmatic approach is to design a series of very specific, subject-focused bibliographies. As a practical example, I have combed through my files to create a thorough bibliography of articles and papers related to the mystery of UFO waves, those periods when UFO reporting increases noticeably and suddenly with respect to average historical records. I have been assisted by a number of top scholars who have contributed references, actual materials, pdfs and online links to create what is intended to be a comprehensive list of the literature on this subject published all over the world. -

Visions of the Eschaton in UFO Conspiracy Theory
new world orders millennialism in the western hemisphere The Plate in My Head is a Government Plot: Visions of the Eschaton in UFO Conspiracy Theory Carol Matthews University of Kansas Harold Bloom, in his Omens of the Millennium (1996), a very personal meditation on the texts and modalities of the turn of mind we call “gnosticism,” tells the humorous story of an encounter he had with fellow Yale colleague and “gnostic” ruminator, Bentley Layton, author of the popular scholarly translation, The Gnostic Scriptures (1987). Apparently, Bloom had had a long day and was beginning the last trek across campus before going home. He ran into Layton who was on his own last migration of the afternoon. Bloom reflects that he must have had a very sour look on his face, for Layton, upon greeting him, inquired as to why he seemed to be in such a terrible, somber mood. Bloom replied that his feet were killing him. Layton paused, became thoughtful, raised one finger, and in a deep, prophetically amused voice reportedly answered with a joke that probably only another academician could understand: “Ah, that is because of the archon of shoes.”1 So, we begin with the archon of shoes. When I was exposed to “gnosticism” many years ago in my “Texts of Early Christianity” courses, and incidentally, to the writings of Layton, I was struck with how similar the “grand Gnostic” myth which Layton described resembled in many ways a modern secular conspiracy theory. According to Layton’s schemata, the “gnostic” mind-set of those ancients who subscribed, whether Pagan, Persian, Jewish or Christian, shared some basic assumptions, central among these being that humans are in a kind of exile from true knowledge about their origins and final destinies. -
Liquidation of the Ufo Investigators
CHAPTER 3 THE SPACE INTELLIGENCES SPEAK - TED OWENS – 1972 Suppose a man came to you and said that an earthquake would strike the California coast in a few days, and the very next day, a big earthquake on the California coast is reported in all the papers. Then the man comes to you again and says that in two weeks time, on Halloween, he will try to cause a UFO to be seen and reported in the newspapers. And sure enough, on Halloween night, a UFO is seen by numerous persons in Camden, N.J., headed for Philadelphia (where the man making these predictions then lived). It is written up in the newspapers, just as the man said it would be. The same man comes to you and says that in the days ahead, an early hurricane will appear off Florida. Five days later, a hurricane (Alma) appears, and hits Florida - the earliest hurricane in history to do so. When Hurricane Inez is born, this man comes to you and tells you that, contrary to what the Weather Bureau says, Inez will turn right at Cuba and go to the US. It does. Then, contrary to what the Weather Bureau says, the man says the hurricane will back up and take the same track Hurricane Betsy took last year, which Inez does. The man comes to you and says that in the near future, President Johnson will have a breakdown in health. Within 120 days, an unexpected public announcement is made that Johnson will need to have surgery. This same fellow then says that an attack on our warships in Vietnam is imminent. -

Something strange has been happening, perhaps for thousands of years, mostly ignored, covered up, debunked, but it still happens. Every day someone becomes part of the mystery. ‘Others’ amongst us are reaching out to us, be it from outer space, other dimensions, other realms, etc. Beware, some might not have the best intentions. But I feel this is a necessary process for our species to make that giant leap forward and become the Universal citizens that we were meant to be. 1975 was the year of the high profile Walton abduction and of SAC base intrusions. It was also a year of unrelenting humanoid activity and encounters almost at a worldwide scale. The United States was in the midst of an epidemic of mysterious and bizarre cattle mutilations. It remained the focus of activity as far as humanoid encounters. The same states reporting the cattle mutilations reported humanoid encounters. -
The Secret History of Extraterrestrials: Advanced Technology And
The Secret History of Extraterrestrials “With our present knowledge of the cosmos, there is now a real possibility of evolved and intelligent civilizations elsewhere in the vast cosmological space. And possible visitations and even encounters can no longer be ignored. Naturally we must tread with caution and not jump to conclusions too easily and too readily; but we must also keep an open mind and respect those bold investigators who apply rigorous research and common sense to this fascinating although very debated hypothesis. Len Kasten is such an investigator, and his book The Secret History of Extraterrestrials is a must for the libraries of all seekers of truth with unbiased minds.” ROBERT BAUVAL, AUTHOR OF THE ORION MYSTERY , MESSAGE OF THE SPHINX, AND BLACK GENESIS “Len Kasten has provided an up-to-date survey of the vast array of issues that are now emerging into the public consciousness regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. For those who want to jump right into the pool and not just sit on the side and dangle their feet, take the plunge with The Secret History of Extraterrestrials.” STEPHEN BASSETT, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PARADIGM RESEARCH GROUP “You can always count on Len Kasten to take you on a spellbinding galactic adventure, for he never fails to seek out ideas and theories that challenge your assumptions of what is true while firing your imagination. Whether in this dimension or another, be it past or future, your travels with Len Kasten will open your mind and introduce you to realities and experiences, you may have mistakenly assumed can exist only as fiction.” PAUL DAVIDS, DIRECTOR/PRODUCER OF JESUS IN INDIA AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCER/COWRITER OF ROSWELL: THE UFO COVERUP “This comprehensive book covers some of the most intriguing UFO and alien-contact cases ever reported. -

NCAS Presentation[9985]
NCAS Presentation September 8, 2018 January 8, 1969, was a red-letter day for the Air Force. That was the date that we took possession of the University of Colorado’s “Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects.” The Condon Report, as it was popularly known, was the result of 18 months of intensive scientific inquiry into a phenomenon that plagued the Air Force for more than 20 years – UFOs or Flying Saucers. There I was at the Pentagon south parking loading dock with a hand truck to load 40 cartons containing 225 copies of the report. I headed straight for Bert Goodwin’s office on the Pentagon’s 4th floor. Goodwin was a civilian attorney responsible for protecting the Air Force’s legal interests regarding the Condon Report. It was just after 3 p.m. as I wheeled into Goodwin’s office. No one in the Air Force had seen the report as yet. Bert and I had one hour to review the 3-volume, 1465-page report. Forty- two copies were to be made available to the Pentagon press corps at 4 p.m., embargoed for simultaneous release in Washington and Boulder, Colorado, at noon EST the next day. Goodwin and I were the first Air Force officials to lay eyes on the report. The Air Force had been scrupulous, almost paranoid, about taking pains to avoid seeing the Condon Report until it was ready for public release. As we quickly skimmed the report, it became obvious that Dr. Condon hadn’t found evidence of any little green men. -
