On the full score, the exact pitches of the Burmese Bells are notated. Only in the soloists' parts is the nomenclature simplifed. The Burmese Bells are assigned spaces on the staff from low to high. Likewise, the Burmese Bells are hung on racks from lowest to highest pitch. This nomenclature – allied to the arrangement of instruments – facilitates the very fast interchanges between instruments.
