It all began in when DC Comics became the highlight attention all around the world - The Death of Superman storyline. It was the biggest story ever published. I have owned before the first edition of Superman: The Death and Return of Superman Omnibus and it was not a good collected omnibus; cheap paper quality, some of the issues were taken out of print, no special bonuses and some parts of the story felt rushed. Then the 2nd edition was released in that includes many of the missing issues It includes what previous editions do not have and with such a cover, the experience is one that deserves attention if anyone wants a complete journey. The story is familiar but now, its better than before and worth getting it. This is one omnibus edition that any collector's should get. The honor guard of Earth's super-heroes, following Superman's coffin through the streets of Metropolis. Jonathan Kent collapsing in a field. Lois and Inspector Henderson finding Superman's tomb empty. Coast City being wiped off the face of the Earth. And I got to see it all, long before you did. It was like a relay race, with the Man of Steel team handing the story off to the Superman team, who would pass the baton to the Adventures of Superman team, who would hand it off to the Action Comics team.
