SEARCH FOR OLD PHOTOS 1998 ICE STORM To prepare a special edition of Châteauguay Au fil du temps and an exhibition to come at the Maison LePailleur, we are looking for photographs taken in Châteauguay that are good illustrations of the 1998 ice storm. These may include landscapes, material damage, citizens in action, slices of daily life at the temporary shelter set up in Louis-Philippe-Paré high school or any other photographs related to the event.

If you have any old photographs that have been digitized, please contact Communications at 450 698-3017 or at [email protected]. If you have photographs in paper format (the most common medium at the time), you can bring them to be scanned to the Centre culturel Georges-P.-Vanier or the Maison LePailleur. Maison LePailleur is pleased to welcome the Réseau Art Spontané (RAS) as part of a regional travelling exhibition. At an evening of artistic creation organized in partnership with the museum, RAS has allowed many artists to contemplate the objects from the Maison LePailleur collection and undertake a creative process. The exhibition includes the body of work by the artists of the Inspiration collective, including those resulting from this evening, as well as objects from the collection that served as a source of inspiration.
