The Auckland Comedy Festival will showcase a season by Sydney dance company Dare Swan at the Maidment Theatre in the last week of October. Dare Swan (pictured below) was founded in 1982 and comprises New Zealanders Chris Jannides and Kilda Northcott, founding members of Limbs Dance Cabaret — Week One. Red Mole join local Comedy- store star Chris Hegan, Sydney mime Ira Seidenstein, and the father of the Christchurch Fringe, River, for a three hour cabaret show, running Wednesday to Saturday in the first week of the Festival. Aucklanders will remember Red Mole from their work in the late seventies, and their appearance at the Sweetwaters Festival in 1980.
