The Shippensburg University tennis team will look to make strides in its second season under the guid- ance of head coach Amanda Fenn ‘06. After having lost no players to graduation, SU brings back the majority of its roster from last season, in- cluding six players that won multiple singles matches in 2011-12. The Raiders will play six matches during the fall season – including three at home – in addition to the PSAC Individual Championships held at Blooms- burg in the middle of September. The team will play eight more matches during its spring championship season with three more home bouts. The team has benefitted greatly from the hands-on coaching approach established by Fenn in her one season at the helm thus far. Shippensburg will boast a trio of seniors in Cassie Sidone, Lisa Snader and Laura Babetski. The veterans have experience playing at all singles flights and will be counted on to fill the lineup and match up with different doubles partners throughout the season.
