We hope you will enjoy this “spoof” of the 1920’s with its tuneful innocence and Whigh spirits of the jazz and flapper era . Our final production of this 50th season in June/July will be “Irene”, a wonderful comedy which opened on Broadway in 1973 starring Debbie Reynolds in her Broadway debut . You’re Invited!!! We lost her just before our program went to print and we will miss her “honest reviews”, newsworthy editorials, contagious smile, and tremendous support! We’ll start with Steve who plays “I Would Be Happy With You” (Reprise) . .Tony and Polly his 52nd show with WVLO, but he actually played “The Riviera” . Bobby,. Girls, Boys his first show with us in 1986 in “Hello, Dolly” and “It’s Never Too Late . .Lord Brockhurst, Dulcie “Irene” (for which he received the Orchestra Vest Award) . He tries to grab “Poor Little Pierrette” . Madame Dubonnet, Polly up the banjo-related shows in Saratoga, because there aren’t that many banjo Finale: Act II . .Cast players around . Steve played with the Peninsula Banjo Band for many years and served 2 years as President of that fine organization which still “rehearses” at Harry’s Hoffbrau on Wednesday nights . In 1998, Karen Morness started playing piano for us in “Crazy For You”, IKE S U PPORT S THRO U GH OCIA L EDIA where she met Steve, and, as orchestra members, got acquainted . In 2000, L U /S U S M Steve was playing for “The Boy Friend” and so was Karen and they started We are looking for patrons who use social media communications with their dating! They were married in 2006 and we chalked up another “show romance” colleagues, friends, neighbors and associates, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Squidoo, for WVLO!!! They are both loyal, dedicated musicians who play in our pit YouTube and Twitter to help publicize our WVLO Musical Theatre Company whenever their time allows! Karen plays either the piano or a keyboard while productions. Steve plays guitar, bass, or banjo, whatever the conductor needs!! Karen also We extend an invitation to you to partner with us in promoting our musicals and plays for auditions, rehearsals and for any individual performers who share encouraging others to attend.
