Social Media Internship

This is a part-time approximately 4-hours per week, unpaid internship. The internship is for as little as 12 ​ ​ ​ ​ weeks up to 2 years and will give an insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit organization.

This internship is non-paid, but you are guaranteed to gain invaluable work experience in an exciting and ever growing non-profit! We promise you won't be stuck behind a desk filing papers all day!

(Most task can be done from comfort of your home or dorm!)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: *Computer experience and knowledge including proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint *Knowledge of squarespace, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms *Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills *Ability to meet deadlines and work independently *Excellent organization skills and demonstrated attention to detail *Ability to provide excellent customer service

LOCATION: Kentuckiana Stroke Association, Louisville

Details: This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is maybe available (inquire with your college advisor).

Start Date: New programs begin nearly every month, you work with our Executive Director to choose the month you wish to start.

About us: KSISA has been in operation since 1999 in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Our office houses a stroke resource library ​ ​ where anyone is welcome to check out books and obtain educational materials. Our board meetings are open to the public February through November. KSISA strives to be the primary resource center for those throughout Kentucky and Southern affected by stroke. We provide speakers and information on prevention and recovery to the general public and our survivors and families through local community events, health fairs, stroke clubs, support groups, etc. The funds donated to and raised by the Kentuckiana Stroke Association stay local.
