Visitors were filled in on a brief history of PAX International, which, this spring notes its 20th anniversary in publication. This is the third year that PAX International has held its Readership Awards in Hamburg. In an expanded program, 25 winners from airlines, airline caterers and suppliers of seating, inflight entertainment and amenity items received the honors. The winners were picked through an online balloting process from the magazine’s website. “The readership awards celebrates the achievements within our industry,” said PAX International Publisher Aijaz Khan. This year, PAX International also awarded honors for Best Inflight Duty Free Program for two airlines, Outstanding IFE and Connectivity and Best Cabin Interior Passenger Experience Enhancement. Several suppliers of amenity kits were also honored.
