(A) Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability) AND 12- months work experience in any private organization OR government organization OR 2 years of commissioned service in defence forces OR 2 years work experience as an entrepreneur. Admission shall be made on the basis of First Come First Serve.

Punjabi University Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management, Mohali was established in September, 2000. The Centre was set up with an aim to provide quality education in the field of computer application and management in order to meet the growing needs of the business and industry. The Centre is located in Phase-VII-Residential Area, Mohali which is contiguous with Chandigarh.

The building housing the Centre is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Centre is equipped with two advanced computer labs, audio-visual aids in fully air-conditional classrooms and 05 mbps leased line service for internet connectivity. CENTRAL LIBRARY

Library at Punjabi University Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management, Mohali is housed at the ground top floor. It has collection of 21,150 books, 21 newspapers, 34 magazines and a good collection of journals in its library. This library has well furnished reading hall where readers can sit and consult reference books and other relevant literature. The library has database of all documents and is also in the process of automation. All the major journal and periodicals are available for the students and faculty.

THE COMPUTER FACILITIES The Centre is equipped with two advanced computer labs, audio-visual aids in fully air-conditional classrooms and 06 mbps leased line service for internet connectivity and centre have also established local area network (LAN) with high speed internet connectivity. All the Students and staff members in the Campus enjoy the facilities of Internet. The labs are equipped with the latest computer hardware and Software.

PLACEMENTS FACILITIES The Placement Cell is functioning under the centralized placement cell of Punjabi University Patiala. The centralized placement cell is in constant touch with the industrial houses and is entrusted with the responsibility of arranging on & off campus interviews of its students with the executives of the industry and projecting its students by highlighting their achievements and potential for delivering products as per the requirements of the industry. Entire Training and placement work of Punjabi University Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management, Mohali is done by Placement Cell of Punjabi University, Patiala.
