The Indians' tension packed win, in what was easily the best game of the season, snapped the longest winning streak of the league as they toppled the MCB-1 Stingers who were trying for the 12th consecutive SeaBee victory. MCB-4 had rolled up a string of five straight when they turned the helm over to the Stingers who went on to rack up six more in a row before they came up against the galloping Braves. Ironically enough, SeaBee teams in the league this season have suffered their only two defeats at the hands of the Naval Station squad. The Stingers played their usual frantic, rapid game and lead the Indians at half-time, 32 to 26. But, as usual, the Indians gathered momentum in the second half as they have all season. Walbolt start- ed dropping them in from all angles, Slewitzke turned sharp- shooter on the foul line and coach Morgan kept his consistency while Gitlin and Nigro turned ball-hawk- ers deluxe.
