6.00pm to 8.30pm Introducon

Welcome to Caistor Grammar School Careers Informaon Evening. We hope that you will find the evening informave and valuable as you invesgate the somemes bewildering variety of routes, opons and careers open to you in the future.

There are many advisers present this evening represenng a range of careers, local businesses, Higher Educaon, the professions and local industry. We would like to thank our advisers who have willingly given their me to be with us tonight.

We hope that pupils in Years 9,10 and 11 will make good use of the opportunity to ask the people actually employed in specific jobs about the careers represented . Year 12 and 13 students and their parents should also be able to gain useful informaon about the process of applying for Higher Educaon courses , finance and course details.

As well as talking to advisers at their stands, there will also be separate talks on some of the most popular careers, each lasng about 10 minutes. These are listed on the next page so that you can decide in advance which you would like to aend.

If you are interested in a career which does not seem to be represented tonight, you may wish to invesgate whether the Higher Educaon representaves are able to provide informaon on courses relevant to that career.

Ms Sandra Hall , the Schools Careers Advisers, will also be able to offer help and guid‐ ance.

Finally, we would like to thank the Friends of Caistor Grammar School for providing tea and coffee.
