LARGE ARTWORKS…HUGE NAMES – BiG!

Gallery BiG was established by Philippine art scene veteran Jonathan Sy in November of 2004. Wholly owned and operated by Celestial Lighting and Interiors Corporation, it is the first and only Philippine art gallery that specializes in huge works of art.

The main goal of Gallery BiG is to provide clients with the best and biggest examples of Philippine Fine Art from among its roster of renowned masters and upcoming talents at the lowest possible acquisition costs. The underlying preference for artworks qualified for display is either modern or contemporary.

Among those regularly carried by Gallery BiG are exceptional artworks by masters Federico Aguilar- Alcuaz, , Ang Kiukok, Bencab, Jose Joya, , Anita Magsaysay-Ho, and Onib Olmedo. Emerging artists, on the other hand, are composed of bright, young talents such as Buen Abrigo, Marcel Antonio, Jun Balasbas, Clarence Chun, Iyan de Jesus, Ferdinand Doctolero, Jaime Gubaton, Maya Ladyong, and Camille Ver. Sculptures by Michael Cacnio, Julie Lluch, Ramon Orlina and Kelly Sonio are also on display.

Gallery BiG counts a number of discerning private art collectors and enthusiasts in its list of distinguished clientele. Also served with utmost professionalism are corporate clients many of whom constantly seek its valued opinion with regards to art acquisition, these include Ayala Land, BDO, BPI, Filinvest Land, Hyundai Phils., Mead Johnson, PhilAm Life Insurance, PLDT, Solar Sports and United Laboratories to name a few.

Gallery BiG is an active member of the Grupo Reposo, an association of business establishments located in the Reposo strip from Kalayaan Ave. up to Jupiter St. in Bel-Air, Makati City that organizes the annual Reposo Arts Festival. It is also a founding member of the ManilaArt Foundation, Incorporated (MFI), which is composed of 24 art galleries who aim to promote Philippine Art as one coherent body. This group spearheads the annual MANILART – the biggest visual art event in the Philippines.
