Anyways, how is Mrs. Claus? I hope everyone, from the reindeer to the elves, is fine. I have been very well too; not to mention entertaining as well. First of all, I have some complains to make. I remember how good I was last year and as the “naughty vs. nice” contract goes, you owed me a fantastic year ahead. To my utter dismay, you were not faithful to the agreement. You presented me with some really ridiculous events. I mean who throws a pool party in the end of summer. And what was with the whole false alarm about Deep Purple coming to Nepal? Honestly, I am really dissapointed about it. Do you know I went overboard and gave it a placement on the cover only to make a fool out of myself ? It was a really mean thing to do Santa. Hoping from the deepest core of my heart that you will keep my sentiments in mind this time around. Besides those awefully sad happenings, the rest of the year was quite fun. Thanks to you. I know how some kids keep asking you for toys year after year and forget to give thanks. I am not one of them. Hence, I am thankful to you for some really exciting events that happened this past year. Thank you for sending us Bhim Niroula. He and his music added the much needed dose of zing to our office hours. We adore him. I must say, I was really amazed by how you finally used Mr. Rajesh Hamal’s towering height and acting skills. It was breathe of fresh air to see Hamal ji taking up a theater act like “Court Martial” and doing full justice to his role. Let me tell you, my expections from him is really high now. You better live up to it. I am also grateful for the Nepali football team making it to the SAFF quarter-finals. I know we didn’t win, but we put up a really good show. While I am at it, can you please bless some of our Nepali sports “fans” with discipline and grace? At the Nepal vs. Afganistan match, I wasn’t as much dissapointed by our team losing as I was with how our audience reacted to the loss. Shame on us, for being such foul-mouthed and sour losers. And a huge thanks for finally getting the Nepali cricket team through to the World Cup T-20 qualifier. Here is wishing that Nepali “fans” will remember and appreciate this work in the future matches. As for this Christmas, I would like nothing but an eventful year ahead. New and exciting events are on the top of my wishlist. Visits from a few mega stars from the international scene would be the perfect icing on the cake.
