...... This year, we find ourselves with a first time occurrence. We have had many Irishmen and Irish roses who were married, but 2015 finds us with our first couple in those roles. And our parade marshals are another couple. All are long time and dedicated volunteers with the Shamrock Club. Irishman Del and Irish Rose Pam Canon have belonged to the Shamrock Club since they moved to the Milwaukee area over two decades ago. Both served in the Color Guard, and both have served on the board. Del was also the Parade Marshal a number of years ago, as well. Pam is currently on the board, serving as parliamentarian. Both have also volunteered their time with other organizations and for their church. Del can be found as a part of the Shamrock Club crew in the Cultural area each year. Pam’s work with the Irish dance community, as well as her other outside volunteering, makes one think she has 200 hour weeks at her fingertips. Kevin and Sandy Quinlan have both long served the Shamrock Club in many capacities. They were instrumental in running the raffle for many years. Both volunteer to run the bars for the Post PARADE PARTY. Sandy served on the board for many years, and her last post was that of Vice-President. Kevin is a past Irishman of the Year, as well. And the two of them instilled the sense of volunteerism in their daugh- ters, Kelly and Keri.
