Milwaukee Fair Trade Coalition Why Shop for Fair Trade Products?

The interest in Fair Trade has grown far beyond the lead products of coffee, chocolate and tea during the past several years. Consumers are advocating for a just economic system in which farmers and artisans, the producers of the goods we purchase, are paid a living wage.

Fair Trade is a system in which a fair price is paid at each link in the distribution chain. This Directory has been developed so that you will have less difficulty in finding businesses which carry Fair Trade products.

You will note that there are many cafes and restaurants in Southeastern Wisconsin which serve . But there are also many other shops featuring Fair Trade foods, gifts and even free clothing. New to this edition of the Directory, we have added a variety of companies that sell sustainable and fair trade clothing online for even more ways to shop responsibly.
