What’s new in one-X Communicator 6.2 FP10 Release This release has following new features in addition to some important defect fixes over the previous release. 1XC Paired Sign-on with VDI-C 1XC now supports Paired Sign-on with VDI-C client, which eliminates the need for dual sign on in 1XC & VDI-C. Paired Sign-on is only supported in Shared Control mode in virtualized environments* with VDI-C running. Users now can login through 1XC, which will auto-login the VDI-C running in background. *This functionality is supported in VMware, Citrix and Microsoft RDS environments. 3 1XC video in Shared Control mode with VDI-C 1XC now supports video in Shared Control mode with VDI-C client in virtualized environments*. Both audio and video media is presented by the VDI-C client. All user preferences (related to video) on 1XC except for “Send your video image automatically when you answer or join a video call” setting shall be disabled when operating in Shared Control Mode with VDI-C Client. *This functionality is supported in VMware, Citrix, HP RGS and Microsoft RDS environments. Server Identity Validation 1XC in SIP mode supports validation of the Server Identity Certificate (IP address, FQDN, SIP Domain) on all secured connections and allows login / enabling functionalities only if certificate is validated successfully. An administrative option is available to enable or disable Server Hostname validation, which can be set through Admin tool or 46xxSettings file. Note - Hostname validation should be disabled when the server certificate is issued by Avaya SIP Product Certificate Authority (Reference ID: ONEXC-12569). Revocation Checking 1XC now checks for Certificate status while logging in using OCSP & CRL mechanism. It will validate the entire certificate chain to avoid issues where an intermediate CA certificate has been revoked. An administrative option is available to set revocation-checking policy as – Off(0), Best Effort(1), or Mandatory(2) using 46xxsettings / Admin tool. Search using Lastname Firstname for PPM Contacts 1XC SIP users can do a quick (basic) case-insensitive search in My Contacts based on "Lastname Firstname" string. This string search does not require "Avaya SIP PPM Contacts" Name Lookup to be enabled under "Desktop Integration" in User Preferences Settings of 1XC. 4 Auto configure Presence domain from PPM with Comm. Profile Enabled 1XC SIP users can now receive Presence domain information from SM through PPM. This eliminates the task of manually configuring Presence domain that could be different for different users. Both Presence Server & Domain fields would be non-editable after login on 1XC. For this to work SMGR User Profile Management page must be properly configured with PS Comm. Profile and enabled. Incoming visual toast alert for Team call 1XC SIP users would now see a visual toast (popup) for an incoming Team call. AES 256 – Negotiate “down” AES-256 1XC by itself does not support AES-256 encryption, but has the capability to negotiate “down” to the currently supported media encryptions in an Aura 7.0 environment. 1XC would gracefully handle this negotiation using the existing support of media encryptions. SRTP: End-to-End Encryption Indicator 1XC in SIP mode would now display secure icon on the active call appearance for calls that are established over TLS connection and media is authenticated and encrypted. Microsoft Windows 10 OS Support 1XC now also supports Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems in addition to the existing support for other Microsoft Windows OS. Note that only non-touch UI / input modes are supported.
