The 2nd International Film Festival & Awards • Macao unveils festival programme, announces Laurent Cantet as head of jury Macao, 3 November, 2017 The 2nd International Film Festival & Awards • Macao (IFFAM) today announced its programme at a press conference in Macao. The Hong Kong/Macao premiere of Paul King’s Paddington 2 will open the IFFAM on Friday 8 December with the festival running until Thursday 14. The programme includes 10 competition films including the Asian premieres of Venice Film Festival prize winners Foxtrot by Samuel Maoz, and Custody, by Xavier Legrand, as well as Toronto Film Festival breakout Beast, by Michael Pearce and the London Film Festival hit Wrath of Silence, directed by Xin Yukun. For its second edition the IFFAM has exclusively dedicated the feature film competition to films by first and second time film makers with a $60,000 USD prize being awarded to the best feature. Film März 2015 57 Derrière le rideau Femmes cinéastes : Jessica Hausner Avec quatre longs métrages à son actif (dont trois présentés à Cannes et un à Venise), Jessica Hausner s’est imposée comme une figure incontournable du cinéma autrichien. Dès son premier long métrage Lovely Rita (2001), surgit des plans noirs, des couloirs vides et des bruits Viviane Thill la réalisatrice autrichienne Jessica Hausner se risque non identifiables : c’est l’inconnu qui symbolise la à un sujet difficile : une jeune fille de famille -bour part cachée de l’univers, quelque chose qu’on ne geoise et catholique tue ses deux parents. A subsequente proposta de Heinrich à atraente mulher começa por ter escasso encanto, pelo menos até Henriette descobrir que sofre de uma doença incurável. AMOR LOUCO é uma “comédia romântica” livremente baseada no suicídio do poeta Henrich von Kleist em 1811. SOBRE JESSICA HAUSNER Nasceu em 1972 em Viena, Áustria. Estudou realização na Film Academy de Viena, onde em 1996 dirigiu FLORA, uma curta-metragem que conquistou um Leopardo de Amanhã no Festival de Locarno. INTER-VIEW, o filme de final de curso, venceu o prémio do júri Cinéfondation no Festival de Cannes em 1999. Dois anos depois, LOVELY RITA, a sua estreia na longa-metragem, foi exibido na secção Un Certain Regard no Festival de Cannes e distribuído em cerca de 20 territórios. O segundo filme, HOTEL, foi novamente seleccionado para a secção Un Certain Regard na edição de 2004 do Festival de Cannes. O filme seguinte, LOURDES [distribuído por Alambique], estreou-se na competição internacional do Festival de Veneza em 2009 e ganhou o Prémio FIPRESCI. -
