Sydelle was the kindergarten teacher at Toras Chziim in , where Yitzchak Schmidman, a colleague of Rabbi Braver, was the principal. When the Bravers came to for the wedding, they met their macketonim Shneir Isaac and Laura Lefkowitz at the home of Dr. Joseph Kaminetsky, national director of Umesoreih, and his wife Shulamis, who is Sydelle's sister. He was then executive officer and on the staff and faculty of the U.S. Army Chapledn Trziirur^ School, Fort Slocum, New Rochelle, New York. Rabbi Braver's specied top hat (zilenderhut) which he had worn at his own wedding, came out of its leather case for these special occasions at which he happily officiated. Louis' marriage to Frieda Shulman in New York in 1951 was another occasion for a happy family reunion. And the grandchildren began to arrive.
