Information on all events is available at the Information Desk, which will be open on Friday, 1st March from 9.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. at the symposium.

Weather: Please note that the average temperatures in February lie between -10 and +10 degrees centigrade and there might be snow in the streets.

Cash: Credit cards are not as widely accepted in as in other countries. Be prepared to have cash (EURO) at hand for such things as taxis, drinks and food at the ball, etc.

TRANSFER AIRPORT – HOTEL

• Taxi downtown: You can book in advance under the following number: +43 (0) 1 / 7007-33833 (Airport Services). We arranged taxi transportation at a special rate of € 35,20 from the airport to anywhere in . Please refer to bpv Hügel‘s arrangement to get this special rate, which has to be remitted directly to the driver.

• Bus-Shuttle: From airport VIE to Morzinplatz / Schwedenplatz Wien (City) bus departs from 4.45 a.m. to 11.45 p.m. every 30 min and additional at 0.15, 0.45, 1.15 and 2.45 a.m. It takes 20 minutes. From Morzinplatz / Schwedenplatz Wien (City) to airport VIE bus departs from 4.00 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. every 30 min and additional at 0.30 and 2.00 a.m. It takes 20 minutes. One-way ticket € 8,00, return ticket € 13,00.

• CAT – City Airport Train: Non-stop from the Vienna International Airport to the City Air Terminal Wien-Mitte, at the corner of “Invalidenstraße / Marxergasse”, 1030 Vienna. It takes 16 minutes. From airport VIE to City Air Terminal: Trains depart every 9 and 39 minutes after the hour (from 6.09 a.m. to 11.39 p.m.). From City Air Terminal to airport VIE: Trains depart every 7 and 37 minutes after the hour (from 5.37 a.m. to 11.07 p.m.). One-way ticket € 11,00, return Ticket € 19,00.

- Vienna : From airport VIE to Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof): Railjet departs from 6.33 a.m. to 11.03 p.m. about every 30 min without changing trains. It takes 15 minutes. From Vienna Central Station to airport VIE: Railjet departs from 5.42 a.m. to 10.12 p.m. about every 30 minutes. It takes 15 minutes. One-way ticket € 4,20, return ticket € 8,40.

Dancing Lesson (Saturday, 2nd March, 2.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.) Tanzschule Dorner, Favoritenstrasse 20 | 1040 Vienna As in previous years, we have arranged for a dancing lesson which will give you the opportunity to brush up your dancing skills.
