PUBLIC NOTICE 23.08.2021 FURTHER AMENDMENT in AIEEA(PG)) and AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) -2021 EXAMS PUBLIC NOTICE 23.08.2021 FURTHER AMENDMENT IN AIEEA(PG)) AND AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) -2021 EXAMS National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the AIEEA(PG) 2021 and AICE- JRF/SRF(Ph.D) 2021 Entrance Exams for admission to specified Post Graduate and Doctoral Programmes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research for the academic session 2021-22 in September 2021. Registrations for the exams are in progress at https://icar.nta.nic.in from 25.07.2021 to 20.08.2021. ICAR has now advised us the following for above-mentioned exams: “It is for the information of candidates aspiring to appear in ICAR’s AIEEA (PG) and AICE- JRF/SRF(Ph.D.)-2021 examination that the extant eligibility requirements for admission through these examinations already notified vide Public Notice Nos. 1(6)/2018-Exam Cell- Part (IV) dated 24th June 2021 and Agril. Edn.1/29/2020-Exam Cell-(I) dated 10th August, 2021 with respect to the requirement of ICAR accreditation stands further modified as under: “Considering acute COVID-19 pandemic situation and its impact on applicant universities, the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board (ICAR) has decided that students from those non-accredited colleges/programmes (please refer list attached), where Self Study Reports (SSRs) for accreditation have been submitted to the Council on or before 17th August 2021 may appear in AIEEA to be conducted by NTA for the Academic Session 2021-22.” Rest of the contents in Public Notices dated 24th June, and 10th August 2021 (visit: www.icar.org.in) remains unchanged. This is issued with the approval of Competent Authority in the Council”. Candidates who are desirous of applying for the exams are advised to take note of the above. Senior Secondary School, Rajendra Nagar, Patna-16 Abstract : Demographic features of a region has great importance because the success of social economic and cultural development programme mostly depend on it. Scheduled caste constitute an important segment of population of Nalanda. This society has specific features in small scale region such as Nalanda district. Keywords : Attributes (features), micro level region, scheduled caste, demography. Study Area : Nalanda district stretches from 24°48' N to 25° 28' N latitude and 85° 11' E to 85° 56' E longitude and covers an area of 2355 sq. km. population is 28,77,65. The S.C. population of Nalanda district is 642207. This area is bounded on the North by Patna district, on the South by Nawada and Gaya district, on the East by Munger district and in the West by Jehanabad and Patna district. This district consists three sub-division 20 C.D. Blocks and 1036 Villages. This region has purely agricultural dominated economy, very few people engaged in secondary and tertiary activities. Research Methodology : This study has used secondary data that has been taken from DCH Nalanda 2011. The data has been analysed with mathematical calculation. This has been represented by pictorial diagram. Introduction : Demographic attributes or features of a region has great important because the success of social economic and cultural development programme depends on it. Demographic features of population includes, sex ratio, habitant place, literacy, language, religion, marital structure of the society.

    ( as on 22/02/2018 ) (Dept. of Health) PRESENTED BY:- District Programme Management Unit (DPMU) DISTRICT HEALTH SOCIETY, NALANDA History Of Nalanda:- Nalanda, is famous all over the world for the the ancient International Monastic University established in 5th century BC, which taught Vedas, Logic, Grammar, Medicine, Meta-Physics, Prose Composition and Rhetoric. Nalanda district is popularly known as Biharsharif. The rivers Phalgu, and Mohane flows through the district of Nalanda. The various sub divisions of the district are Biharsharif, Rajgir, and Hilsa. The district is divided into blocks of Giriyak, Rahui, Noorsarai, Harnaut, Chandi, Islampur, Rajgir, Asthawan, Sarmera, Hilsa, Biharsharif, Ekangarsarai, Ben, Nagarnausa, Karaiparsurai, Silao, Parwalpur, Katrisarai, Bind, and Tharthari. It is spread over the area of 2,367 sq. kms. The total population of the district is 31,29,303. Nalanda, founded in the 5th century AD, is famous as the ancient seat of learning. The ruins of the world's most ancient university lies here which is 62 km from Bodhgaya and 90 km south of Patna. Though the Buddha visited Nalanda several times during his lifetime, this famous center of Buddhist learning shot to fame much later, during 5th- 12th centuries. Hieun Tsang stayed here in the 7th century AD and left detailed description of the excellence of education system and purity of monastic life practiced here. He also gave a vivid account of both the ambiance and architecture of this unique university of ancient times. In this first residential international university of the world, 2,000 teachers and 10,000 monks students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied here.
