Service Schedule for BT Web Conferencing Service powered by Microsoft Live Meeting 1. INTERPRETATION “Account” means an identifier that BT gives to the Customer. This identifier is used on all records. “BT Conferencing” means the business unit of BT that provides conferencing services. “Live Meeting” means the web conferencing service provided under this Contract and is the BT Web Conferencing Service powered by Microsoft Office Live Meeting service. “Microsoft” means PlaceWare Inc a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation. “Organiser” means the person whose account the meeting is booked under. “Presenter” means the person presenting the visual information to the audience. “Participant” means a person or persons connected to the Service. “BT Conference Coordinator” means the individual who will assist during the conference. “Minimum Period” means the initial term as stated in the order form. “Third Party Information” means data, information, video, graphics, sound, music, photographs, software and any other materials (in whatever form) not owned or generated by or on behalf of the Customer, published or otherwise made available by the Customer using Live Meeting 2007. Reference in this Contract to a month shall be deemed to mean a calendar month unless the context requires otherwise. Version 1.1 Page 1 of 6 August 2008 BT1006ee 2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION 2.1 Live Meeting Office Live Meeting provides the ability to share a PC desktop with a group of individuals for the purposes of collaborative working and presentations. Live Meeting uses advanced secure sockets layer encryption as standard. Presenters or trainers can easily move between rooms and participate / supervise all discussions. Pre-meeting handouts Scan handouts and distribute them Professional Only before and during meetings. Advanced Prepare tests, ask a variety of styles of Professional Only Testing/Grading questions (fill in the blanks, true/ false etc) and provide instant individual results to participants. Two-way VoIP*** with Live Meeting provides two-way VoIP Professional & integrated BT MeetMe audio capability which allows participants Standard to use their desktop phone or PC speakers and microphone to attend a meeting. The Live Meeting VoIP feature is internet reliant and has no audio support helpdesk. To assure a superior audio experience BT Conferencing provisions all users with a BT MeetMe audio conference service with every Live Meeting account. Compatible Microsoft 360-degree panoramic video function Professional & Office RoundTable with the Microsoft Round Table video Standard device, enabling video conferencing between meeting rooms and remote participants. Integrated audio The service to dials out to link Professional & conferencing participants to the audio portion of the Standard Version 1.1 Page 2 of 6 August 2008 BT1006ee conference. Webcam video Show live webcam video of meeting Professional & participants/presenters during the Standard meeting. Video (Rich Media) in Multimedia files can be easily uploaded to Professional & presentations present. All media clips are virus scanned Standard by Microsoft Forefront before distribution to meeting attendees. Personal Recordings Recordings can be stored locally on the Professional & computer of the presenter or participant. Standard Annotation tools Annotation tools, which include rich text, Professional & shapes, flowcharts, and fonts and colours Standard can be used to edit documents. Shared Notes Pane Enables every attendee to view and edit Professional & shared action items to ensure everyone is Standard in synch on key deliverables. * Limit of 15 participants for a standard named user license. ** Audio conferencing is only available for break out rooms in conjunction with dial out audio. ***This feature is available subject to local laws and regulations governing telecommunications, customers who intend to use this feature are advised to check availability with their BT Conferencing account manager. On Windows Vista, Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.45 to view Flash content in the meeting. Windows Media® technologies player, version 9 or later (version is checked when the meeting client starts) to view Windows Media content in the meeting. 1 The required and recommended bandwidth speeds are cumulative. For example, if you want to use voice, webcam, and Microsoft RoundTable, the minimum bandwidth would be 50+50+100=200 kbps. After this time, the recording is deleted. BT reserves the right to change the system requirements but will give as much notice as possible before doing so. 2.5 Network Uptime 99.9% The Definition of network uptime is: the percentage of time in a calendar month that the Live Meeting service is up and running in a particular conference site without loss of material functionality excluding regularly scheduled maintenance and causes outside of BT Conferencing and Microsoft’s control. Currently, maintenance is conducted every Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (PST) for the Asian data center, and from 6:00 p.m. Friday – 12:00 a.m. Saturday (PST) for the North American and European data centers. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to inform you if scheduled maintenance will be performed at other times. Version 1.1 Page 5 of 6 August 2008 BT1006ee 2.6 Registration The Customer must register for an Account with BT Conferencing in order to apply for BT Conferencing services. BT Conferencing will also offer a complementary user information pack via e-mail/mail/telephone describing the features of the product, and offer user training. The complementary offering and its contents will be reviewed from time to time with changes to best meet the needs of all BT Conferencing customers. 3 SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS 3.1 The Customer is responsible for providing suitable computer hardware, software and telecommunications equipment and services necessary to access and use Live Meeting 2007. This Contract does not include the provision of telecommunications services (including access to the Internet) or hardware necessary to connect to Live Meeting. 3.2 Neither BT, nor its suppliers are responsible for Customer Information transmitted through the use of Live Meeting 2007. The Customer accepts that BT is under no obligation to edit, review or modify the Customer Information or Third Party Information and that BT does not examine the use to which Live Meeting is put. 3.3 Live Meeting must not be used in a way that would put BT in breach of the terms of any agreement BT has with any public telecommunications operator, notified in writing by BT to the Customer. 3.4 If the Customer or anyone else, with or without the Customer’s knowledge or approval, uses Live Meeting in contravention of paragraph 3.3, BT may treat the contravention as a material breach of the Contract and terminate without notice.
