STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2016 No. 587 HOUSING, ENGLAND The Housing (Right to Buy) (Designated Rural Areas and Designated Regions) (England) Order 2016 Made - - - - 16th May 2016 Laid before Parliament 19th May 2016 Coming into force - - 20th June 2016 The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 157(1)(c) and (3) of the Housing Act 1985(1), makes the following Order: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1. This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Designated Rural Areas and Designated Regions) (England) Order 2016 and comes into force on 20th June 2016. 2. In this Order “the Act” means the Housing Act 1985. Designated rural areas 3. The areas specified in the Schedule are designated as rural areas for the purposes of section 157 of the Act. Designated regions 4. In relation to a dwelling-house which is situated in a rural area designated by article 3 and listed in paragraph 1 of the Schedule, the region designated for the purposes of section 157(3) of the Act is the district of Chichester. 5. Cllr C Green declared a personal interest in the Cross Keys agenda items as a member of the Cross Keys Action Committee. ii. Cllr C Green – National Grid Mid Wales Connection project (Dispensation granted 17th June 2013 Minute Ref 104/13) iii. Cllr C Green declared a personal interest in the pre-application consultation for Land at Llwyn-y- Go. He declared that he was previously the land owner and the applicant is a relation. Cllr Green asked that it be noted that he would make a statement and then leave the meeting. 26.15 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION David Parker, as agent, spoke on the proposal to build an affordable house at Llwyn-y-Go for a local couple. He confirmed that pre-application discussions had taken place with Shropshire Council but the actual position of the house was still being considered. Feedback from the Parish Council was requested. Information on the two proposed sites for the house was provided and additional information on each one given. -

Powys FHS Burials Index The Powys FHS National Burials Index 1813-1851 has now a total of 54,026 entries, of which 33,116 have been sent to the Federation for inclusion in the next NBI DVD. Breconshire & Radnorshire are complete for the period 1813-1851 and have been published on CD and are available from Heather Bufton, work is progressing on Montgomeryshire. The index contains checked data, unchecked information is not included in the main combined database, but is added as and when it has been checked. Free lookups are available from Phil Bufton.
