Why do we respond so differently? Reviewing determinants of human salivary cortisol responses to challenge - B.M. Kudielka, D.H. Hellhammer, Stefan Wüst, 2009 Article | Prescribed | This reference is a review paper. The authors didn’t conduct an experiment, but they have reviewed the individual physiological and psychological factors that are involved in the cortisol stress response. Creswell, 2012 Article | Prescribed | This reference is an experimental paper. The authors conducted a study which is very simuliar to the one we will conduct in PSY1BNB, so it is really important. However, feel free to read this paper if you are particularly interested in mindfulness!
